This is probably a good museum for the area, but they present a video in the form of a ride on a space ship. Would probably be good for young kids, but I found it a little weak. The exhibits were nice but the museum...MoreDear, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry that you found our museum limited. We welcome clientele of all ages and from all over the world and we wish to please the greatest number. Regards, Lily Gilot Communications Manager

Excellent hiking through the canyon and along by the river, especially during autumn. Good value at $3.75 per person, particularly if you want a longer hike - they give you a ticket which you need to return on exit so that they know you have made it back to safety.

This structure is made up of "yield" traffic signs. It is completely unique and a wonderfully interesting attraction in a small park in La Baie. If you are in the area, be sure and see it.

Bagotville air base in eastern Quebec is not exactly on anybody's scenic roster. But, quite by accident, we saw it driving by, dropped in, and were very pleased that we did. Run by the Department of National Defence in an abandoned base church, it is a comprehensive display of the history of Canadian military aviation, really since the Second World War, with a nod to the first. It managed to be both people-oriented and historically accurate. In addition, there is a range of historical materiel outside -- helicopters and fighters, that have seen service with the RCAF since 1950. There is a bus tour of the base, with explanatory guides. The museum is bilingual, naturally majority French, but with perfectly good English-language interpretation.

The demonstration of blown glass is amazing, seeing the team work is really something. The pieces created are varied and so creative, perfect mementos and gifts. Also, classes in blown glass and jewelry making of local stones is offered. I have signed up and am excited to go next week!

Lyne L
