Pepe Charlot is a hidden gem tucked away in Imhoff Farm, Kommetjie. I visited with a group of 12 ladies and were warmly welcomed by the owner and cheese maker - Pepe - who gave us the most informative talk on the making of Goats' cheese, and showed us around the premises. This was followed by a wonderful cheese tasting - six different Goats milk cheeses accompanied with wonderful home baked bread and wine! What a wonderful way to spend a morning! We all came home laden with different cheeses to enjoy!
Can really recommend a visit to Pepe Charlot to sample his cheeses, purchase and enjoy. Pepe is passionate about his cheese making, having learned the art from his grandfather in France, and whose spirit lives on in Imhoff.

We had an excellent time travelling around Cape Town with Seascape Tours on our two days with them. While we were unfortunate with the weather for Table Mountain on our first day, they ensured that the day wasn't wasted by taking us on a tour of the area to make up for it, which we thoroughly appreciated. Dot and Tim were very knowledgeable, not just about the area but about the history, and showed us places we'd normally never have stumbled across, which was exactly what we wanted. They even went out of their way to pick us up and take us to Table Mountain on a third day just to ensure that we didn't miss out on it. I thank them for starting our honeymoon off brilliantly and would thoroughly recommend them as the tours were great and they are incredibly friendly and helpful.

We booked last minute for a large family dinner 7 adults 8 kids.
Brilliantly quick service, good range of meals to suit everyone the veggies to carnivores to fussy kids.
Good wine and beer list as well plenty of choice for kids.
Set off the main road with loads of parking.
This is our second visit just as good as the first, great staff food is well presented and there is plenty of it.
If you want a slightly off the norm experience this is a good place to go

I think what I love about this lighthouse is the access to it. The boardwalk (Die Kom) is a lovely walk along the shoreline. There are benches along the way where you can sit and enjoy the Atlantic ocean's crashing waves, and the surfers braving the cold water. The Lighthouse itself provides interesting information, and you're allowed to climb it - I am not sure if you need to book this.
