Capela do séc XVIII em estilo barroco e rococó. O interior é muito simples com nave única. Quando lá fui estava a ser velado um corpo. A fachada da capela que está no largo principal é bonita.

The Castle and the monastery are basically the same building.
It's an old monastery/castle that is part privately owned and part state owned. So you have your bars and your restaurants and your gift shop next door with your museums. Each one with it's different type of windows.
I don't consider myself an history nazi but I was amazed how the state of the building is.

We have three children and we made it there because of the indoor pool. The reviews about the hotel were good and so we gave it a chance and found it wonderful. Great service and great accomodation. The kids loved it and so did we. We will come back for sure.

A construction that still stands perfect 21 centuries after it has been built is something to be revered. It is a testimony to the finest engineering work ever made without using cranes or heavy machinery. Minor reparations occured between 2001 and 2003.
On the downside the surroundings of the bridge namely the picnic area and accesses are run down and definitely deserved some attention. The bridge more than deserves it.

É uma pena a degradação a que esta capela chegou. Está fechada, só podemos vê-la por fora. A vista para o rio é lindíssima.
