Went there with friends last May 17, 2017. Entrance fee is only 5pesos/pax, parking fee is 10pesos. Floating Cottage was 150/hr and kayak for rent 300pesos. What was surprisingly pricey was the camote and banana cost 100/kg!
Place was a refreshing sight as well as the cold waters. CR is found at a hills spa location, donation of 5pesos is welcomed for maintenance. Overall going there was a welcoming experience!

Leyte Golf and Country Club

This 18-hole 72-par golf course can only be reached by driving via a gravel road and is partially hidden by sugar cane fields. Needless to say, it is remote but so worth the trouble to get to the place. The course is framed by huge and magnificent acacia trees. On the opposite end of the sugar cane field, the course ends in a bluff where you can view the wide expanse of the Ormoc Bay. The course do have a modest clubhouse where you can rent carts and caddies but you have to bring your own tees and golf balls. They also have small apartment rooms to rent and a swimming pool for their guests to enjoy.

Ormoc Rent a Car

Mario, the chauffeur, picked us up at the harbor and took us to our hotel. The van looks like new and big enough for 6 people. The next day we rented it for the entire day. Mario is extremely professional and knows all places around Ormoc better than a GPS.
It was very convenient and comfortable - especially for $39 a day.
Gas is not included and the tip we left was well deserved for the driver.

My first ever major unexpected climb. Definitely one of the hardest climb I've done with all those almost 90 degree slope that required us to use rope. One has to be very careful up hill since there’s a lot of itchy & thorny plant around the trail. The trail was winding & menacing but the views that we saw were already enough to justify every bruises and scratches that we had.

Wow, really crazy to see such exotic Tequila collection. I have never seen before some of the bottles. The karaoke system was not your typical set up, 4 plasma screens and 1 huge HD projector screen with very good sounds. Native style bar really felt at home here. Took around 10 friends and we had a blast! If your looking for something different and want to see a nice bar and have a great time worth the evening spent.
