Nathdwara is a town in India's western state of Rajasthan. It is located in the Aravalli hills, on the banks of the Banas River in Rajsamand District, 48 kilometres north-east of Udaipur. This town is famous for its temple of Krishna which houses the deity of Shrinathji, a 14th-century, 7-year-old "infant" incarnation of Krishna. The deity was originally worshiped at JATIPURA Mathura and was shifted in the 1672 from Govardhan hill, near Mathura along holy river Yamuna after being retained at Agra for almost six months. Literally, Nathdwara means ‘Gateway to Shrinathji (God)’. Nathdwara is a significant Vaishnavite shrine pertaining to the Pushti Marg or the Vallabh Sampradaya or the Shuddha Advaita founded by Vallabha Acharya, revered mainly by people of Gujarat and Rajasthan, among others. Vitthal Nathji, son of Vallabhacharya institutionalised the worship of Shrinathji at Nathdwara. Nathdwara town itself is popularly referred to as ‘Shrinathji’, after the presiding deity.

The pride of Rajsamand District, "Haldighati" in known across the globe for the chivalrous deeds of the great Maharana Pratap. 44 kilometers from Udaipur and 17 kilometers from Nathdwara it is nestled in the middle of the Aravali range. This narrow turmeric coloured mountainous region which played a stellar role in defending the honour of Mewar dynasty, is known as Haldighati.
While returning from Nathdwara, the taxi driver turned towards the famous Haldighati where in the year 1576 AD Maharana Pratap of Mewar had fought fierce battle with Emperor Akbar, though the mighty Mughals could not subjugate Maharana. So much annihilation of human life was done in the battle that the soil was flooded with blood, hence 'Rakt Talai' or pool of blood. The place is rightly called 'Haldi' Ghati or the turmeric valley as the color of soil is yellowish as you dig further, more yellow colour comes out.

This was my last destination of Char Dham of Mewar, Charbhuja Ji Temple is a famous temple of the lord Vishnu in the Garhbor village in the Kumbhalgarh tehsil of Rajsamand district. Gomati river flows nearby this temple.
The idol of Shri Charbhuja Ji is 85 centimeters high. The four arms of the idol hold conch, discus, mace and a lotus flowers. The discus and the mace symbolize dynamic power, energy and prowess.
The temple is made by mirrors, Lime mortars and Marble. The excellent work of the mirror is done in the original temple. The shutters of the inner temple are made of gold while outer shutters are made of silver. Garud ji is installed in the other courtyard. Stone elephants are placed on the both sides of the entrance. Temple is in the open space.
Really a nice place to visit. Thousands of pilgrims visit this temple daily.

Must visit place for all student profile visitors. The scenic beauty, view from top of the hill, remembrance of Maharan Pratap's bravery, 3D show with narration, story boards, walk around the place all of that was quite an experience. I was surprised to know that its built and run by a philanthropic couple than Govt. or any tourist company ! ! ! Hats of to these people for their effort. nd you can pay the entry fee by credit/ debit card too.

Strange people are either unaware and unnotice this historical place.
As the name board displalys, this is the place where the chariot of Lord Shreenathji stopped and didn't move further. So till the time an abode for the God could be built,Shreenathji rested here and did all the penance.
Later on with all the rituals,Shreenathji was moved to his new present abode.
This is also the place where Ghee and other daily used commodities are stored some in well too.
Timings are from 10.30 am to 17.30 pm.daily.
Pay your respects here too.
Enjoy and be blessed.
