We went to Leaping Deer yesterday and were fortunate to have tremendous weather for November. This is the second time we've been here but the first with small children. I had planned to stay two hours and we ended up leaving reluctantly after five hours. The children were between the ages of 1 and 8 and enjoyed every single thing they played with. Everything is well spaced out on the grounds and well maintained. The people who work there are all genuinely friendly and helpful. Throughout the day there are mini entertainment events - pig races, pumpkin squashing, pumpkin launches....etc. Food was great and nice range of choices. Personally I didn't think the prices were high considering the number of animals who would require feed and vet care. And gas/maintenance for the tractors/wagons rides. I looked around during the pumpkin launch and everyone of all ages were grinning - good fun for everyone!

A bit out of the way, but a very friendly staff and a varied selection of Maple products makes this a fun place to visit.
In addition to pure Maple Syrup in all sorts of bottles of various sizes and shapes (some even shaped like a Maple leaf), they have maple popcorn, maple cookies, and many other maple flavored products.
The day I visited things were a bit slow and I had an opportunity to talk to the lady that rang up my order. She gave me several suggestions on how to use the Maple Syrup instead of other sweeteners to see if that would have a beneficial effect on my blood sugar. A very nice visit and I'm thankful that I found this place. I got some nice souvenirs too!

Was in Woodstock, Ontario on business today and had a few hours in down time to relax here. Drove around this large well kept park which had lots to do plus offer the residents of the area. Parked my car and enjoyed the peace and quiet. No one bothered me and can see from the other reviews why this park is popular!

Played here in early June. The front 9 was super slow as there was a twosome holding up our foursome. They let us pass on hole seven. They employees were nice and courteous, course was in good shape.

This is a small museum, but loaded with interesting items and facts. Unfortunately we visited in the winter and a couple buildings were closed without heat. The main building has a wood carving that is absolutely amazing to look at and took 13 years to do. I won't say any more about it, you have to come see it yourself to truly appreciate the size and work.
The cheese factory had some interesting information as well as this was the only other building open this time of year.
