We recently tried Miss Ingersoll's for the first time since moving into town. We were with a large group from the church for lunch and the Waitstaff had their hands full with keeping orders and cheques separate however they did not disappoint! The atmosphere was organized, clean, friendly and festive! The food was delicious and everything tasted homemade. My husband had chicken Parmesan, 2 large pieces which came with pasta and an amazing marinara sauce (just like I would make from scratch).....he ended up bringing some home as it was too much for one sitting. I had the sheppards pie with tossed salad. It was served on a huge platter, 1/2 of which was salad (lots of fresh veggies and tomatoes). The sheppards pie was not overly seasoned and had REAL mashed potatoes on top. I've heard the buzz around town that they also serve an awesome breakfast and are famous for their homemade pies! We'll definitely be back again!

This place is almost magical..Always busy. They have great coffee but even better pies and cakes. We have ordered several times and the baked goods we got were awesome. Eating in the store is just as good. The servers are fast and attentive. Even when it is busy there is not too much of a wait. The waits are worth it when they happen. A must visit when in the area.

Dino's is an old-fashioned Italian family restaurant. It has a small, cosy bar that is nice to drop into for a drink after work. It's real charm is the food, of course. Excellent home-cooked meals and BIG servings. No-one would feel out of place in Dino's - the whole atmosphere is warm and welcoming. And they have a great Sunday brunch.

I’ve only been twice, but this place is to die for! HUGE servings that make the already great prices even better. You can also get half servings if you aren’t into left overs! A ton of delicious and creative dishes to choose from, not just...MoreWicked awesome Laikin! Thanks for sharing.

Have been there a couple times this year and am finding the same as many others. Poor service, slow service, ice-cream machine always an issue. Was there about 2 months ago and it took 10 mins to get ice cream when there was only one other guest there. Another time we went in for a free coffee only to watch one of the workers sneeze openly all over the coffee cups. We made the comment, cancelled our order and walked out. More work needs to be done.

My wife and I visited the Elm Hurst recently for their Sunday brunch and we thought it was great! The made to order omelette was tremendous and the desserts were delicious. Excellent roast beef as well. The mimosas are a great touch! We can't wait...MoreGood Afternoon Brian We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed our Sunday Brunch. This was our first visit and won't be our last. Prices are very good for perfectly sized servings. Food was delicious with varying degrees of spice/heat. Service was a bit slow because the restaurant was full of folks like us attending a concert at the live theatre/concert hall across the street (free street parking after 6:00 p.m.) Main street location easy to find for us from London ON less than an hour away.

This is a cottage staple for us. Their pizzas and panzerottis are second to none. Delicious and they don't skimp on the toppings. Panzerottis are stuffed full! My family and I highly recommend Thamesford Pizza if you're anywhere near the area. Don't need a while Pizza? Just stop in for a slice. The best deal in fast food.

Many reviews somewhat slammed the service however i was fortunate enough to have perfect friendly service from arrival to departure. Sara/Sarah was superb, attentive and friendly. Food order was correct, served quickly and overall quality was good. Overall a very good experience. Thank you

My husband and I just moved here recently from the St. Catharines' area where there are many great all-you-can-eat Sushi places. We were sad to think that we would have to find a new go-to sushi restaurant, but look no further! This place was amazing! Their prices are beyond reasonable, the sushi was fresh and tasty, and the service was very good too. Our server was so sweet and helpful, filling our water all the time throughout the meal and bringing more napkins and such. The food was so good, and it was nice to have a normal restaurant experience without the high tech tablets that all of the sushi places seem to use now. Here, you simply write in what you would like to order on a paper menu. It was simple and efficient. They also serve deep fried bananas with dessert at lunch time! No extra cost! We will be back for sure. :)
