Cluain na dTor is quite a magical experience, an oasis of exuberant plants and trees. The entrance to the nursery and Gardens gives little indication of the unexpected treasures to be discovered within. There is a sense of being transported into another world as you walk through the garden in a cocoon of plants. Everywhere you look there is planting which has been done with thought and care, especially wonderful is the exotic garden - I was surprised and delighted to see so many unusual plants growing in such a wind swept part of the country.
A garden that is definitely worth a repeat visit - highly recommended.

A perfect summer's evening in calm waters. Two of us had done it before; two not. But no matter. Straightforward, friendly instruction in a relaxed atmosphere. Played stuck in the mud (tag in Kayaks), navigated canals and visited an island - all within sight of the peak of Errigal. Thanks Kitty. We'll be back.

At the Falcarragh Visitor Centre, you can immerse yourself in the lives of our rural ancestors from Falcarragh and its surrounding region. The Centre, which contains a Coffee Shop, Craft Shop and Tourist Information Desk, is housed in an ex-R.I.C. barracks. Permanent exhibits of the history and culture of the barracks are on display. The Centre is open all year round.
A cosy and welcoming community-run coffee shop with a good savoury and sweet selection, and crafts shop, painting for sale and a small exhibition about the police service from the RIC to the present day Garda - all housed in the old Garda Barracks - Worth a visit.
