Trelleborg (Swedish pronunciation: [trɛlɛˈbɔrj]) is a town in Scania, Sweden, with 28,290 inhabitants in 2010. It is the southernmost town in Sweden located some 10-15 km west from the southernmost peak of Sweden and the Scandinavian peninsula. It's one of the most important ferry towns in Scandinavia as well as around the Baltic Sea. It's also the main town at the Söderslätt agricultural areas.

Nice grounds with small pond. I actually enjoyed watching the wildlife (the endangered frogs) more than the actual site. They charge a small amount, but don't seem to actually check if you have paid or not. Very tiny museum. Our group was there almost 2 hours when about 45 minutes would have done. Very clean bathrooms.

Weinig echt bijzondere items maar per saldo wel de moeite van een bezoek(je) waard.

Trelleborg's Tourist Center is an authorized tourist center. At the tourist center you can get information on the local, regional and national tourist offers, as well as help booking accommodation. We also offer the Cultural Heritage Card, SCR card, Sound Around, stamps and souvenirs. We accept payment by credit card.

Quite possibly the most amazing thing in Höllviken. I had been told about the amber museum but having visited yesterday, I don't think anyone has adequately described just how amazing this place is. More accurately, this is a shrine to amber created by people who are passionate. Worth going out of your way for a visit, even if you only have a passing interest.
