Wat Mae Saab Nua

Reviewed By nitrous303 - Saarbrucken, Germany

I was welcomed with wide open arms by the senior monk and all others, visiting my dear friend Champ. What a beautiful temple, village and sanctuary at the top of the mountain. I got to follow the monks through their daily routine which was very fascinating. When the foot reflexologist came by I got a taste of jeb, thank you so much for this!

Mae Sab Cave

Reviewed By olgar773

Very big and spacious natural caves in Mountains. There are several entrances to different caves, not all of them are marked officially, so don't miss them, simply explore every peace of the area. Some of the caves are dark, but the others are not. They are so clean and pleasant to explore! Actually we were very astonished by their size and beauty. Best recommendations! A must see. It is worth even to go there specially from Chiang Mai.

Wongwan Strawberry Farm

Reviewed By luap8181

This is the second time we have visited Wongwan Strawberry Farm.
The strawberries are very sweet and delicious. Its a 1 hour car drive away rom Chiang Mai but if you have a car, the scenery on the drive through the Mountains is spectacular.
There is a cafe on site and the strawberry smoothies are the best I have ever tasted, full of fruit and just 50 baht.
On the previous visit, I bought some of their home made strawberry jam which was delicious but this time, it was very disappointing and a waste of money. More like runny gloop than jam.

Pong Kwaw Hotspring

I highly recommend visiting this beautiful and peaceful hot spring paradise! Nestled deep in the forest, you will find private hot spring rooms as well as a large outdoor hot pool. 150 baht for tourists and 80 baht for Thai locals. It is definitely worth the trek! As you soak your body in these healing waters, your body, mind and soul will thank you.

Nop Phu Pha Farm

Reviewed By mag_ty - Singapore

This is the first review for this place and I am SURPRISED as this place is a true gem! It's also called Nop Phu Pha Strawberry Farm but there's more than strawberries here - cafe serving their strawberry themed veverages & cakes, strawberry pickings when in season, nearby orange farm, ATV rides, stayovers in tents. The best part of this place is the clean crisp air and beautiful scenery - it's only 1 hour away from Chiang Mai City to boot!
I was so enchanted by this place when I got back in December that I wasted no time in reviewing it in my blog (http://outofnormtravels-magty.blogspot.com/2011/12/napahupa-nop-phu-pha-strawberry-farm.html). Will leave it to the photos to speak for themselves :)
