Got the platter which gave me a little bit of everything except scallops. All good but the oysters and mussels were exceptional. Fresh off the boat that am. Mussels were the only warm item. Also got the chowder which was good. Suggest walking here if you have the time before your tour. The parking is awful.

We walked out to Talisker Beach this trip to Skye in August. It was a cold rainy day, but we didn't care! Seeing the Waterfalls was worth the wet walk!Would do it again!

Very knowledgeable skipper and great boat to see the sights of the areas. Wildlife in abundance with seals, porpoise and eagles sighted on our days out. Fishing trips can be organised and catching fish to feed the eagles is a must. Thoroughly recommended.
Catch the boat from the floating jetty just along from Talkiser Distillery.

This must be a lovely place to eat in summertime, right next to the bay. In autumn, the views over the water to the hills were brilliant. The food is outstanding, the best pub food I have eaten, and there was plenty of it. The local real ale, Cuilin Red, washes it down nicely. We ate at the Old Inn one night and visited the next just to have a drink and a chat. It is a warm, welcoming place with a nice buzz about it. Highly recommended.

Talisker Distillery is the oldest working distillery on the Isle of Skye, set on the shores of Loch Harport in the village of Carbost. Come and visit us for a tour of the Distillery, see our 5 copper pot stills and the traditional worm tubs that make our Talisker so unique, then take a look at the casks in the warehouse where the Angel’s Share is lost to evaporation during maturation. Have a taste of our award winning Talisker Single Malt Scotch Whisky in our Visitor Centre.
Take the distillery tour and then sample some of the whiskey. Very informative tour, best in small group. Would have liked to sample a variety not just one (other tours we have been on typically gave three samples). Best to book ahead if you prefer a particular time in busy season.
