Hosteria Kaiken is located on the east shore of lake Fagnano, one of the most beautiful corners of Patagonia. Surrounded by large windows with spectacular views, Kaiken's restaurant Selknam offers international and regional cuisine. A standout is the tipically patagonian roasted lamb, cooked for several hours to lenga-wood fire.Hosteria Kaiken also has a bar with the same gorgeous view and a cozy living room by the fireplace. A perfect spot for having a drink or enjoying a good coffee after a long day visiting Tierra del Fuego. We're open all year, Mon-Sun from 08:00 to 23:30.

Only stopped for a sweet snack. The pastisserie is delicious and the coffee is just okay. It was pretty empty so we enjoyed the place for ourselves. Nice views of the fagnano lake. Overall a pretty satisfying stopover

What a cute little place. They were starting with grilling and we were hopping that they would have vegetarian which is quite difficult to find and what a surprise! Very simple, just boiled and real potatoes mashed. Friendly staff especially the temporary staff from Switzerland. Highly recommend this restaurant, if you a meat lover you will not be sorry!

Es una parada casi obligatoria para quien va de camino hacia Río Grande o a Ushuaia, y también para quien va a pasar un rato a Tolhuin. Está decorado con muchas fotos de famosos que han estado allí de camino, desde presidentes hasta actores y deportistas. Sus medialunas son para recomendar

There is a large selection of excellent baked goods and candies. But the best reason to visit is the incredible, unique ambience. There is an homaje to an Argentinian doctor which you have to see to believe. There is a display devouted to trout. There are photos of the owner with local celebrities. All in all a unique, fun and delicous experience.
