The Ekopark is well worth a visit, there are a lot of walks for those interested in seeing the local nature and wildlife. This day we were to tired to try it, unfortunately. The castle is also a lovely view, behind it there is a lake (or pond?) which also is perfect for a stroll. If you are really interested in visiting Castles you can also enter it and take a stroll inside. They have guided tours as well, I think one daily. Am not sure there are any in English, though. Depending on your interest you might want to join in on the tour. We did not, and found the information kind of sparse. There was a alunexhibition with quite a lot of information, but other than that it didn't say much about the furniture or other things in the castle.

Be prepared to move your legs because this is not just a "sit and enjoy" experience even though it's really not any tough work at all. It is an excellent way to experience the nature in the Southern Sweden on a railway bike. This tour...MoreThank you for your review! We are pleased that you and your wife had such a great day and we wish you very welcome back another time! :-)

Driving with Jeep cars on the challenging course at Osterlen, Sweden. You drive the car yourself over log obstacles and challenging slopes. Our instructors will guide you and give driving tips. A thrilling and fun experience. No experience required.

A chocolate factory in the little town Skane Tranas in the southern part of Sweden. At the factory they have a shop were you can buy the latest and greatest from their sortiment. High quality chocolate, several different flavours to choose from, and some of their products are with ingredients from local suppliers. A great place to visit, and you will go there again - because of the high quality and taste.

A visit to Ales Stenar is well worth a detour of you happen to be in the region. The megalithic arrangement on the elevated coastline of southern Scania east of Ystad immediately brings you back in time, to a time when the relative movements of the earth and the sun has meanings that are forgotten nowadays.
Beautiful.

I’m afraid this attraction is mostly for swedish/nordic people. BUT a must! Small - Yes, but packed with fun history/film/theater fun!! Just go there.

Small farm specialized in growing and processing of herbs. Enjoy our homemade ice cream in the lavender field or take a guided tour around the farm and learn about different herbs and how to use it. In the farm shop you can buy products from our farm and from other local producers.

Here at Ystad Djurpark, we try to ensure that our animals and visitors all feel at home. Amid the undulating countryside, you can meet large exotic animals from around the world and many different native breeds, as well as monkeys, lemurs, meerkats, birds and reptiles. In all, we currently have around 60 different species. We also have a large pool area (open 1 June to 30 September) with heated pools. And not forgetting our fantastic café, where you can stop for a bite to eat, something to drink or an ice-cream.
It's a zoo without the tigers and lions but plenty more to see. Lots of farm animals but also animals from all around the world. Big space and easy to walk around. Kind of expensive entry ticket. Included is also a small water park for the kids. Great place for families. Also possible to bring your own food or buy inside. You can also rent (for like 30 kr) a small wagon if you have lots of stuff to carry and simple drag this around instead. Seemed to be popular.

This is an area that is frequently called Swedish Tuscany because it is hilly, in sharp contrast to the otherwise rather flat landscape. Here you can see cows or sheep grazing, you can walk along one of the clearly marked paths and enjoy our beautiful landscape.
