Gwangmyeong Cave

Reviewed By Ivan O

The caves located around 1 hr 30 mins deive from Seoul. Myeongdong cave is beautiful, there is a restaurant with perfect wine, collections of fish and plants, very good conditions. The problem is how about for older people ? As it will be hard to walk far from parking site to the cave, also inside the cave. And when we returned back at night, there are no lights on the way from cave to parking lot. Grade 7,5 out of 10

Oido Red Lighthouse

Reviewed By OzanKarahan - Krakow, Poland

Oido is very nice place, a must-see location for Seoul visitors. It is possible to travel there by metro from Seoul Station. It takes about 90 minutes to arrive to Oido. Then it is necessary to take bus (number 30-2) to go to seaside. There is nice walkway along sea. There are many restaurants with a lot of sea food selection. I recommend sea food next to this Red Lighthouse. You can choose the sea food which you wish and they prepare. It is quite nice experience for street food, sometimes raw but always tasty.

Sihwaho Lake Reed Marsh Park

Reviewed By Jeff H - Whitehall, Pennsylvania

I've gone here a couple times for weekend birdwatching although it's closed this winter to prevent bird flu. It preserves a small patch of marshland (most of which is being converted to industry in the Ansan area). Some of the areas on the edge of the park are a bit polluted, but the core areas are fine. There's also a nice exhibit hall.
The nearby riverside Promenade seems popular with walkers and cyclists, though most don't go near the park. Also, there's supposed to be a bus that goes there, but I've never seen one.

After finished the meeting & some Missions with the partner at Gunpo. I got small journey at this place; Mt.Surisan. Unluckily, I came this place earlier in the month of March, otherwise the Pod-Ko (or Sukura) would be blossomed fully along this area. Anyway, I tried the wonderful hiking with my friend and kept the good scenery along the way we walked also ^___^

Seoul Grand Park

Reviewed By JOIFL - Naples, Florida

This is one of the best Asian zoos we have visited. Their newer sections (particularly leopard/bear/tiger) are first-class and provide excellent habitats and good enrichment for the animals. They are in the process of more renovations, so expect some closures and construction activity.
The Zoo is quite large and has steep pathways from the entrance to the top. The best way to visit is to get a day pass for the chairlift at the bottom of the mountain (go to the lift house rather than take the "Elephant Train" from the Metro station (10 min walk)). You then have a fun ride to the Zoo gate. Buy a ticket, go in and to the chair lift immediately inside, which you ride to the top of the Zoo. From there, there are several possible paths down through the various exhibits. When you get to the bottom (entrance/exit), ride up again. Repeat as desired!
Across the road is the children's zoo (small) and the "Theme Garden" which depending on the season can be spectacular. We visited during the Rose Festival (late May-early June) and it was amazing.

Brilliant park just between modern and traditional. You have plenty of modern sculptures around the park. Perfect for some yoga sessions or having a run. Bare in mind that winters in Incheon are quite cold and rough, plan a good protective clothing if you are planning to have a run.

Siheung Premium Outlets

Reviewed By abitofseoul - Seoul, South Korea

Siheung Outlets is a new outlet location located outside of Seoul. It is still on the Seoul subway lines so it is easy to get to though it may take some time depending where you are located.
The outlet is smaller than others in Seoul but has many different brands and there are a variety of items you can buy. Both Luxury and normal items.
The food court is a little bit of the small size for how many people visit but the food is good and priced well.
Make sure to go to the info desk first and see if there are any coupons available for stores as you might be able to save more.
There is also a large play area outside for kids if you do bring kids. Pets are also welcome and there is a doggy stay area at Molly's Pet shop if you need to.
Bring your passport as you may be eligible for tax free rebates.
Overall I thought it was a good experience and it is not too far away compared to outlets in the USA and Canada.
