Definitely one of the best Beaches in Lombok. The sand was so soft I felt like walking on a carpet! The view is mesmerizing and there are pretty good seaside cafes & restaurants. On the afternoon, a group of buffalos pass by and it's a very interesting sight!

Sade is a traditional Sasak village in Lombok. It is filled with traditional wooden huts. The primary activity is weaving. The village has been developed into a major tourist destination where the weaving is promoted.
Suku sasak is the original tribe, which live in Lombok from long time ago.
It's really great to experience the way Suku Sasak live, in Dusun Sade.
Learning their culture, knowing their home, learning how they woven their songket / fabric and so on.
Though it's intresting place, it'll be better if the government also put effort to maintain the site, so it's more pleasant for us to visit.
And for the local guide, don't be affraid. Yes, they expect for some allowance for their time. But they are polite, and always happy how much money that you give them as their tips.

We had a 2 hour surf class with Mul’s surf school and it was really good.
We were being harassed by some surf schools on the beach and Mul’s surf school approached us very gently, professionally, with a fair price for 4 people and great English so we didn’t hesitate to go with them and we are glad we did!
They showed us outside the water how to stand on the board, a few times, and then we managed to do it straight away when they pushed us on the right waves in the water! We had a lot of fun, thanks guys!
Would go again and definitely recommend :)

This is supposed to be a cultural village but I personally felt that this village is too touristy and it is filled with vendors trying to get the tourists to purchase their respective items and merchandise. There is not much to look at and I really doubt whether there are real inhabitants inside this village or not. I am not very impressed with this place.

I had the massage for surfers and reflexology massage at Vera Spa, both of which were amazing. Afterwords, Vera realized I was staying at a hotel that was a few minutes drive away and that I didn't have a ride. She offered to drive me back to my hotel which was very sweet of her!

Pink Beach was good to see but actually preferred the private beach at Jeeva Beloam. Both are beautiful. Unfortunately, time and people have erased what was once a pink beach. Less coral and the color has gone. It's worth a visit to offer another beach experience near by. But would not travel any long distance to visit. Glad I was close.

We had the challenging 4D3N trek. We literally believe reviews that mentioned it is leisure trek but we were wrong. We climbed two Mountains and visited two crater rims. Views were awesome beyond words but the terrains are treacherous and most time we had to be on 4 limbs. Far from a leisure trek. The duration we took doubled from what was stated in the itineraries. We are no amateurs but we had been to ABC and EBC base camps in Nepal, KK in Malaysia, My Pulag in the Philippines and East Himalayas. Rinjani trek is by far, the most challenging one we experienced. I would still strongly recommend if you are up to it

Ola Ola is a nice hidden guest house in the vicinity of Selong Belanak beach, about 10 minutes walk. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, with affordable prices and a nice breaky included. The down side is that the place has currently no common area and, at the time of the writing, one is under construction, which can get noisy in the mornings.
Totally recommendable for solo travellers and couples. We thank the friendly staff.

We specifically went to the Kuta area of Lombok because I had heard that the Beaches were much cleaner than the Beaches in Bali.
Our hotel recommended we head out to Tanjung Aan beach. It is a 20 minute scooter ride from Kuta on good blacktop until you get to the turnoff where it becomes a dirt road which is a bit rougher. Once you get to the beach, there are a number of places to park which cost $10K.
The beach is beautiful. The shores are lined with white powder soft sand. The surf break is quite a ways out so it is a great beach for swimming. The water and beach were very clean. It is also quite a long beach and is great for walking.
There are a number of warungs you can go to which, in exchange for purchasing food or drinks, they have loungers available.
There is also a great lookout point at the east end of the beach.
