Fabulous beach with everything you need for a blissful day in the sun. Sheltered bay, great swimming, lovely sandy beach, plenty of beach loungers & umbrellas. The main beach bar does pretty good day time food too.
Can get very busy and then parking is at a premium, but well worth the effort to get here.

In all the years of going to this area we hadn't taken in the market and it's gorgeous. It's expensive as the items are lovely as are all the little shops. There are so many lovely restaurants in the market area. Definitely recommend a wander and lunch.

Es Caragol beach is located in the south east of the island, 7km away from the town of Ses Salines.
To access the beach, it is essential to have a car. You can park your car by Ses Salines' lighthouse, which is about a 30 minute walk from the beach. It may seem too long to walk, but the views along the coast are exceptional. Cabrera island can be seen during the walk and whilst on the beach.
It is a very peaceful and natural spot, however there are no facilities (no bar, toilets, sun beds or umbrellas). It is 500m long and 60m wide, which is a lot of space for the few people frequenting it. The sand is white and fine, although there is seaweed in some parts of the coast, as it is a very untouched beach. Note, nudism is allowed and practiced by some.
I would recommend to go there to escape from the more crowded Mallorcan Beaches and to enjoy the turquoise water. It is very close to looking like a Caribbean beach, so don't let the walk put you off!

A picturesque beach to discover, a hidden place, difficult to go with children, and also in the high season; unique, like a natural pool behind rocks, off the beaten paths; Cala s'Almunia is definitely worth seeing !

We stumbled upon Sparkles for a drink on our way home, it has an outdoor Seating area with waiter service and they seem to run karaoke most nights. There is a small soft play for kids. After 12 you can move inside if you want to continue listening to music or dancing or you can remain outside where it would be quieter. it is open till 4am!

Not very busy - needs more English music and mire people. Just a short distance from cala d'or - can walk easily - one fault thou - not food at the end of the night near by
