It is the mother church of the town of San Sebastián de la Gomera and of the whole island. It is located in the heart of the old town. The riches of the patrimony that keeps behind its walls includes the coffered Mudejar, Renaissance tables and diverse images and pictorial works.

Torre del Conde is a 15th century Spanish fortress located in the Villa de San Sebastián de La Gomera. It is a military-type building. Its function was mainly of representation of the majestic power, and counted on the lack of modern armament on the part of the natives.
Of the towers built during the conquest of the Canaries, it is the only one that is preserved today.

Just returned from an excellent day out here in the Park curtesy of VSV Tours. Valentin tailor made our visit to show us some of the hidden gems the Park had to offer. The visit came to life in the very knowledgable hands of our guide who is clearly both sensitive and passionate about the island.
An initial stop off at the visitor centre gave a greater understanding of the geology geography and culture and I would thoroughly recommend doing this before entering the Park.
We had intended to hire a car but decided it would detract from the amazing scenery. I was a little worried as I know there are lots of hair pin bends and I get travel sick however no need to worry as we were in safe hands.
A "must do" trip before you leave whichever way you do it!

La Cueva es una pequeña playa, de unos 220 metros.
as there were waves and the weather had been rough for a while there was about max 1 metre of sand. No one on the beach i'm not surprised to say. At this time of the year people come, look and go.

Very helpful staff with an excellent plan available which helped me to identify and, more particularly, name the important sites.

I make a trip from Tenerife to Gomera by boat, was nice and relaxing. when I arrive there I was impressed by beauty of the island, by Mountains and nice viewpoint, by sea golfs, natural sea Beaches with stones and sand, amazing roads into the Mountains, into the forest and valley, nice people and good food. This island it is a must see at least in a lifetime.

This is a good walk. The lighthouse is just that- nothing much to see. If you continue on the path along the cliff however, there are some spectacular views across to Mount Tide and Tenerife.
Wear solid footwear as the path is like a building site, with rubble and metal.

A small building, one of the oldest on the island. You can go in and out freely, but not a lot to see - stark simplicity. .
