The oldest cave in Puglia did not disappoint. It is a marvel how nature creates masterpieces impossible to replicate. A must see, it is a view that will take your breath away. And the guides are kind, knowledgeable and handsome, what else can you ask for?

I had the pleasure to visit this small typical Italian city and I think is a true gem. The best way to visit is accompanied by a local that can show and explain everything. I liked very much their "Gnostre" which are almost impossible to translate but very interesting to see. Nice place and nice atmosphere.

This was our first experience of cycling abroad and we had some Reservations. We were given lots of help via email and my husband was able to have pedals with cleats fitted to his bike.
The whole experience was amazing
Antonio met us at our first hotel to give us the bikes and a comprehensive briefing. Once I understood the Garmin, navigation was a breeze - only one problem when we appeared to have to cycle through a hedge!
All our hotels were lovely, baggage arrived safely and restaurant recommendations good - although on a couple of occasions they were full!
Highly recommended the coast route.
Thanks Antonio and all the team.

This church is set in the main square of Putignano. It is dedicated to St Peter and the locals believe that it was the apostle himself who preached in the town on one of his journeys to Rome. The town enjoyed Papal protection for many years and it was not under the authority of the local bishop, but directly under the pontiff. The church has an elegant Romanesque facade, with a portal dating from 1085, and a particularly beautiful rose window. But its real surprise is once you enter it, both on account of its size and its unusual split sanctuary. Above the high altar is another sanctuary connected by grand spiral stairs on either side. Above is the oratory of the Crucified, a lovely chapel that is home to the confraternity of the Crucified. The church has a fine ceiling and probably the most beautiful organ gallery in the whole of Puglia, elaborately carved and painted. This church is not to be missed.

percorrendo via estramurale a mezzogiorno ,all'altezza della porta barseto c'è piazza San Domenico .

it's the symbol of incompetence of the administration of .....and the lack of ambition of .....the community of Putignano. In these 27 years I visited the palace ONLY on special occasions, I get it wrong but only twice in 27 years the palace was open for the public as I remember! Now they are constructing a new entrance , it takes a 27 years to create a new entrance for the palace . When it's ready, the administration will have to finance, financed by the UE, the extra-ordinary maintenance which will also take 27 years, in the mean time the palace will be closed for maintenance!!! Of course people will eb working over there. It's the excellence of Putignano
