Thalasso Gloria San Agustin

The Thalasso Gloria San Agustin centre at Gloria Palace San Agustin Thalasso & Hotel was opened in 1998. Equipped with the latest technological advances, it is one of the world's most modern centres, with more than 7000 m² given over to relaxation and comfort. This extensive area is entirely involved in health, with a total of four seawater pools, including the dynamic pool, gym pool and the large Get in Shape Pool, which consists of a relaxing circuit of seawater heated to different temperatures (33ºC/37ºC) with 33 hydromassage points. This was the first large installation to open on the island of Gran Canaria specifically to provide services using seawater. It went on to become the largest thalassotherapy centre not only in the Island but also in Europe, constituting a model for the development of further facilities.

Dog friendly place.
Sometimes, especially in the afternoon can be very windy.
You can walk to Maspalomas ( around 1 hour) and make there a camel trip:)
The weather in March was unbelievable!
We didn’t except 27 degrees!

Having decided to go diving on my recent trip to Gran Canaria I spent a most enjoyable day with Marieke and Filipe. We drove up to Sardina where there was lots to see and as ever a great experience.
Marieke was extremely helpful from my first inquiry pre-Christmas. Upon arrival the team delivered a fantastic experience which i couldn’t recommend more to those coming to GC. I will definitely be using Nautico when I come back.

We stayed nearby in late November and had superb, warm sunny weather. This beach was small but very clean, with a few bars and restaurants very close. We walked right along the coastal path to Maspalomas, which was a really scenic walk and not too unmanageable, even with arthritic knees!

If your visiting Gran Canaria, you really need to make sure you visit! This was one of the most memorable parts of our trip - such amazing views and an unique experience that you won't forget.
It is though, a very tiring walk up and down the sand dunes, so prepare for the long walking and muscle strength needed to get up and down the steeper areas! You can walk where ever you like, but to see the best views you need to be at the top of the sand dunes!
It can also get quite windy - you'll find your clothes full of sand at the end of the trip, but everything is so worth it. You'll need an hour least to visit here and take in all the sights.
I would advise to be careful and abrupt when walking to the beach - there are quite a few foreign 'sales' people who seem a little dodgy, and try taking money off you for making you a bracelet which they basically force and tie onto your arm - we fell for this and they were demaning 5 euros for a piece of thread.
Also, beware that this is a nude beach!

Very nice shopping centre with plenty of high end shops, not your normal tourist shops on the island.
Nice shopping environment with moving walkways for the less able and lifts to each floor.
Eateries including Burger King to many fancy places including steakhouses.
Worth a visit.
