Volusnica is a 700m ascend to a peak which will give yo a magnificent viewing point on that part of the Prokletije Mountains. Once on top you can add a 2 hour ridge walk which will bring you back to the track down. The tracked is marked as easy. This should be explained, what is easy about the track is, well, the track. It's well marked and there's no difficult passages you could do it with normal shoes (altough I don't recommend it). But, it IS a 700m ascend on a very steep path so get ready to get physical. It's well worth the effort and I swear to you, you will forget all about your sore muscles once on top. If you're luckier then us you won't have storm once on top forcing you to spend but 2 minutes up there.

In the foothills of the Prokletije Mountains, at a place where long vanished glaciers used to exist, the valley housing the Plav Lake is located. The Ljuca river carries the cold and clear water of the Prokletije snow to the Plav Valley, across the Ali-Pasha Springs, all the way to the Plav Lake.
This peacefull lake is a great place for a picnic.
Just go down to the pier and feel the endless mounteins around.
The town is nice and alive ,if you forgot the food for the picnic so they have a little supermarket.
The only thing is the rubbish that flowts on the lake water.
People please keep it clean!

This karst spring, one of the strongest in the Prokletije area, is distinguished for its beauty and it is often called the "Wonder of Prokletije". It is 30m long and 25m wide. Its water is so clear that you can see the spring's bottom even where it is deepest.
Very beautiful place surrounded by the fantastic landscape of Prokletije Mountains. We dropped by after a 8 h hike to 3 lakes in Albania (Buni i Jezeres & Liqenet e Jezerces, Trail 515, 517 & 517A) & to cool our feet in the unbelievable cold water. It was amazing! I can recommend to anybody to get on a plane and to visit this place and the Mountains arround.you will enjoy it!

The oldest and most beautiful tower in the area is the Redzepagic Tower, dating back to the 17th century, built by Hasan-Beg Redzepagic.
Old house, 16 the century or earlier is getting ready to be opened. we went inside and it is an interesting place to look at how old families from that areas used to live.

Located in the foothills of the Prokletije on the location of a large karst spring with 25 small wellsprings, the Ali-Pasha Springs are one of the most beautiful areas in the north of Montenegro. Depending on the season, 3 to 9 m3 of water per second flows through the Springs. This place also houses an old stone mill, which preserved its ancient wheat-grinding mechanism to this day.
This is s former flour mill, then restaurant during the Communist era, now a forlorn, litter strewn, decaying structure. The natural Springs which powered the mill are all underground, and you can see some of them bubbling to the surface. There is talk of the government renovating the site. As of now, I would only stop if it is only the route that one is taking.

The hike starts going by mountain huts for the cattle and sheep herders. As you climb higher, you can see signs of wild boar and other animals. When you get to the lake, it is like a mirror showcasing the hills and tress around it- and so clear!

A centuries-old spiritual centre for the Orthodox population in the area, this Monastery was erected in the 12th century. It was built in the Byzantine style and is believed to be older than the Decani Monastery.
Un po' nascosto ma di facile accesso. Appena entri sembra di essere in un altra dimensione. Si respira un aria di misticismo in mezzo ai affreschi.

In the best place on the trail peaks of the ballkans.we hawe a confortable house ,delicious food And amazing wiew You are welcomed in my guest house
The interior of this religious building, erected in Gusinje in 1926, was adorned with an iconostasis many consider one of the most beautiful in the country. It is characteristic for its semicircular apse and bell tower, and its rich treasury contains a large number of items of significant artistic and historic value.
This Catholic church is located in the village of Dolja, 1km away from the centre of Gusinje, built in the 1930s. This is a coherent structure made of grey stone.
