ZipLine is an adventurous flight using cables and pulleys. Our ZipLine is located above the famous Pazin cave. Zip Line Pazin Cave consists of four lines. Visitors start their adventure from the gorge below the Hotel Lovac. The first two lines are 80 meters long each one. The third is 220 meters long and reaches a speed of 40 km/h, leading to the courtyard of House for writers. The fourth line is a longest 280 meters, and also fastest 50 km/h. As a rule, it is the favorite as it allows you to enjoy the view of the cave and the famous Castle above it. This line ends above the small cave Babina kuca, on the lookout, which is named after the famous French writer Jules Verne, who in his novel Mathias Sandorf (1885.) wrote about Pazin Cave and the Castle. By trail on the cliffs of Pazin Cave, and in less than five minutes, we come back to the place where it starts. Suitable for children and adults.
What a gorge! What an experience! Did this with my four children, 20, 18 and 13. Arrived and there were a couple of groups in front so we had to wait about 50 minutes but that was fine, we sat and watched them go. You can do the first two short lines or all four lines and in high season they do a huge swing from the bridge but this was not open when we went.
Got properly harnessed up, top and bottom because lots of people like tipping themselves upside down and spinning in their harnesses when zip lining. Yikes!
The first two lines are short and sharp the next two, well, you literally head off over nothing. My children just went, me, I really hesitated but thanks to the help and encouragement of the lovely Anna, I was able to go.
Everything felt super safe and the staff were full of enthusiasm and fun.

Pazin cave is a natural speleological object, with guides followed a slight descent into the canyon of the riverbed pazinčica, the underground part of the trail is about 200 m long and it ends with a big hall and an underground lake, there are two small zip line inside the speleological object which transfer visitors to a sandbar of the underground lake. Because of the limited number of visitors you need to book!
We had a great time climbing into the cave with speleologists, Mladen and Sasha. They were very professional and knowledgeable. It was really exciting ziplining over water inside the caves. One of the highlights of our holiday in Croatia. Highly recommended.

A small medieval church. The beautiful frescos from the 15th century. At the time it was built, most people were illiterate, so that both sides of the church are painted with Biblical themes. At the time, the best way for believers to learn the basics of the faith. The most beautiful part is located on the inside of the wall above the entrance - Danse Macabre, shows that we are all equal in death, from king to a beggar, from the rich to the poor. When leaving the church lift up the view, on the wall just above the door is watching the image of Jesus, from whatever side you are watching the image, it seems to look just you. Beautiful.

There is a castle and a chasm, but the chasm isn't that amazing. The castle is decent but with the limited time you have in Istria I would suggest you spent it elsewhere. Town is slightly confusing to navigate and a little out of the way. If you really want to see the castle, go for it, but if you want to see a breathtaking chasm you will probably be leave disappointed. Istrian as a whole is amazing, but Pazin is average.

This visit is a "cave experience" second to none. If you are ready for 20 minutes of easy walking to the cave entrance and if you are ready for some mud and dirt, this is a visit you do not want to miss. Guided by knowledgeable -and kind - speologists, we discovered the cave and some of its endemic wildlife in their natural environment: no artificial lighting, no paved walkways or anything like that. We enjoyed walking in the cave and using the two zip lines that helped us cross the underground river. We also learned a lot about the geology of Istria. We warnly recommend this visit and also recommend that you book in advance.

As a historian i'm always interested in small local museums because they show something different.
This museum is nothing special, it shows the history of the local area with a strong focus on the history of the working class. Unfortunately only a very small portion of the information is in English so I was reduced to looking a items and pictures while trying to guess their meaning.

I suggest everyone to visit this winery, the atmosphere is lovely and the hosts take a lot of care that you feel great. We get there without reservation but everyone was friendly and even they had to prepare for guest from a bus, they answered all our questions and showed us the cellar. The wine is great and best quality.
It would be great if we can order to Austria some if these bottels.
