This is a huge lake and you can snap countless pictures here and still not be bored by it. The scenery is breathtaking and you can "enjoy" the steep 44 turns and 600 metres elevation. Make sure you enjoy your meal in one of the local restaurants. It is something not to be missed when you visit Bukittinggi. It is definitely worth the arduous trip.

I visited this island as additional trip when I had a vacation on Cubadak island. This island actually has stunning beauty, with the white sand, beautiful waves, beautiful rock formations and so on. I hope the government or the locals will take care of the island better.

I am amazed at the number of beautiful Waterfalls this country possessed. Anai Valley Waterfall is of no exception. There are lots of roadside stalls next to the waterfall, that made life so much easier if you are hungry or want to purchase some local souvenirs. The water current of this waterfall is strong and it is definitely the perfect spot for some beautiful pictures. This is a must stop from Padang en route to Bukittinggi and vice versa.

When visited Islands in padang, try to come here before sunset. The island is near sekuai island. Some tends were build on ocean shore, local people used to spend the day here i think. The beach is quite so we walk along the beach to find the best spot to enjoy sunset. When the sun was set, the sky began to change it's colour. I called it magic hour, it's just a while and then they're gone, but the colour is sooo beautifull.

A gave a 5 out of 5 because you can capture an amazing sunset experience. The beach in general is pretty dirty and polluted. Lots of little food stalls located along this beach and that made dining pretty convenient. If you are an avid photographer, this may be the best place to capture an amazing picture of sunset.

The museum is basically the Rumah Gadang or Main House for the Minang community in Padang. Each group in the Minang community has its own Rumah Gadang where meetings or gatherings are usually held. The garden in front of the house is quiet large and quiet beautiful. You have to pay an entry fee to enter the Museum.

I give 5-star for its beauty and magnificent view of this island, this virgin island is the best island that i ever been visited. However, need more attention in facilities and cleanliness so visitors more comfortable to enjoy this island. The water is so clear and white sands beach is truly gorgeous. If you want to enjoy a view just like Raja Ampat just go up for little hiking, the trekking not that high and difficult, take 5min to climb up. After that, a breathtaking view awaits you up there. Perfect!! Clear sky with 3-4 gradation color of the sea.. Makes you want to step away and get down very soon, and get into the water immediately. Perfecto!!

The landmark of Padang China Town is a Chinese Temple. It is located near Pondok, a famous place for food, shops and hotels. The place is not so big but clean and organized. Padang Food and Chinese Food are very well known. So Padang Food made by Padang Chinese is a great taste.

About 10-15 minutest South of Padang and worth it! The beach is inviting; the famous rock reflecting the legend of the rebellious son begging forgiveness from the mother he had rejected is worth seeing and photographing. And the Indian ocean with various Islands within view makes for a scenic pleasure too.

Sikuai Island is one of my favourite snorkeling spots. This island is still untouched and it is really beautiful. Water is crystal clear and the perfect spot for relaxation. This island was abandoned a couple years back due to dwindling tourism but they are now back in business. There is a brand new pier and also a couple of cottages being constructed. This is definitely a highly recommended tourism spot in Padang.
