If you go to Bursa, this is a place you should spend at least an hour. It is not for the tower itself but to see Bursa from there. And also, you can enjoy one of the many authentic restaurants around.

This is one of the 4 Bridges in the world that accomodates shops (just like the Ponte Vechio in Florence or Rialta in Venice. It's built in 1442.
Built back in 1442, destroyed many times by earthquakes and bombs during the wars and finally renovated recently in 2004, this famous brigde of Bursa is one of the 4 Bridges in the world that accomodates shops (the others being Osma Brigde in Bulgaria, Ponte Vechhio in Florence Italy and Rialto Bridge in Venice Italy). Today, it accomodates touristic shops and handcraft workshops. Today, it's cornered by modern monuments all around and this is what it makes it a wonder to see it all of a sudden while walking in the neighbourhood.

It was a special experience to witness the Whirling Dervishes at the Bursa Lodge (the Karabas-i Veli Culture Centre).
I have seen 'performances' by Whirling Dervishes before (ie. on a stage and done only for tourists) however this was the first time I had attended an actual service where the Dervishes were going about their normal devotion and it was open to the public.
This was so much more moving than the past 'performances' I have seen. The 'audience' on the night I went appeared to be mainly local, taking part fervently in the prayers at the end of the night. It was a mesmerising and fascinating experience to watch and I felt rather privileged to be allowed in as a guest.
Highly recommend this experience to those who want to see a real Dervish Lodge in action, rather than just a tourist performance.

The location and building are very well. For the meeting, theater and some Exhibitions, it is best place in the BURSA.
