Dasan Yakyong Jeong was the representative Silhak scholar in Joseon. There is no entrance fee. In this site, there is a neat birthplace house and tomb burying Jeong and his wife. And there is a memorial hall of Jeong's with monument about him. This site is not big and not special. 10 minutes should be enough time to look around.

If you plan to visit, it should be at night, for minimum 2 hours. There are a lot of light decorations on trees, ground and sculptures. Most of them are beautifully executed, unique and attractive. It is the largest illuminated garden that I ever visited. Worth walking around every corner. You will be really amazed by different colours.

I loved Dumulmeori for the fabulous mountain views across the intersection of the two rivers. The place is wide with lots of other tourists. You can enjoy snacks and food at affordable prices. It was quite great to take a photo with the Zelkova Tree. It wold be nice to visit.

Donggureung means east nine tombs. The size of Donggureung was bigger than I thought. In Donggureung, six kings and ten queens are slept(Joseon's 1st king Taejo, 5th king Munjong, 14th king Seonjo, 18th king Hyeonjong, 21st king yeongjo, 24th king Heonjong). Maybe this royal tombs area will be the biggest Joseon royal tombs in Korea. If you want to know about Joseon's tomb form, we recommend to go there because there are nine tombs!!

Starfield Hanam is a revolutionary shopping experience in Eastern Seoul. With the largest indoor spa inside a mall in all of Asia and allowing pets to shop along side their owners, this is a destination by itself. Lose yourself in a comprehensive shopping experience at Hanam Starfield.
This is a huuuuge mall in Hanam, near eastern Seoul. A Shinsegae mix up of an Emart trader, Shinsegae department store and the first mall based Tesla showroom. Numerous food options including a wonderful food court, sitdown restaurants and street food options (indoors) The size of 10 American football fields and it has almost everything one could want. I think its public Water Park and sauna is one of the best in the Seoul area. It's unique that it allows and even encourages pets to come with their owners to the mall. The only downside is there's no public transit like a subway to get there. It's best if you drive a car there for Seoulites. It is public busable from parts of Eastern Seoul.
ps: wear comfortable shoes. it's ALOT of walking.

This temple building was not big and normal, but the view in the temple was very beautiful. Though the road to temple was rugged, it was worth to climb to temple for scenery. There was very good temple because of fresh air and good view. The inside was not bigger than I think.

It's not as easy to visit as the rest of Seoul since it's about an hour with public transport (metro 5 to Gangdong and then Bus 23 going east to the final stop Starfield). The spa is on the fourth floor of the shopping center.
But once you're there it's an adventure. At least for us it was, since the spas we're used to are much smaller and less crowded. Families seem to spend the whole day there and take their cell phones even into the many different hot rooms, which is fine since you have to wear shorts and a shirt that are handed to you at the entrance. The sauna is the only part where people are naked, and there men and women are separated. The rest can be enjoyed together.
For me it was more an adventure than a relaxing afternoon, but I would still recommend a visit. And if you like to shop or sing karaoke you can stay in the shopping center afterwards.

There were many things about coffee, like spoons, cups, grinders, and coffee beans, and history of coffee, and coffee sensation in Korea. The things that is wanting were that there were not special thing. But the things that was good were that you can make coffee yourself and taste it. The inside of museum was small, and the outshape was fine. The outshape became better to be in harmony with the river flows beside it.

I visited there after Dumulmuri, beside attraction, and went around there. The entrance fee was a little high than I think. In there, because of cold weather, all lotus was wither, so I couldn't feel there was good. Though ship bridge was interesting, but the others was so-so. Just Dumulmuri trip, that's enough, I think. If there charge admission in full blossom time and will not charge in no flower time, there will be more good place.
