This was a must do as we have a dino mad 6 year old. He was not disappointed and although from an adult perspective it could do with a revamp, the kids all loved it and you get caught up in their enthusiasm. Very informative with fossils as well as models and lots of new fact that we didn't know!! It was a great morning out and quite shaded as among the pine forest, so good in the summer heat. So so snack bar that seemed quite expensive (we took our own snacks) and very average gift shop but lots of mid/ low priced things to keep kids happy. also a covered 'excavation' sand pit by the snack bar which was nice. Didn't go the other part of the museum so cannot comment on that. It was pricey but fun was had by all so good value in my mind.

Very good choice of wine for a very reasonable price. Such a friendly member of this family business who helped us to chose the right wine for us. Next year we definitely go back there again.

This is an interesting complex that housed an art exhibition over the summer, although it's probably ended now. But most of all, we enjoyed going out to the grounds through the side entrance and enjoying the great view from on high over the oyster beds. Well worth the climb to get there.

Venus en groupe. Nous avons appris beaucoup de choses sur la culture des huîtres.
Repas simple mais goûteux.
Bonne adresse

On a hot day (36c) in mid-June, we had a harbour-side coffee while waiting for the 11:00am tour. We boarded the catamaran on-time, the boat was very steady on the choppy lagoon, and the opportunity to get into the cooling breeze at sea was welcome. The captain spoke some English, and his presentation was supported by a video in English. Interesting stuff as the locals and holidaymakers who come to this area eat a lot of the shellfish farmed in this area. The tour took just under one hour, so were back in time for a harbour-side lunch!

An eclectic collection of African inspired art. I particularly appreciated the intricate nature of some of the sculptures, with almost obsessive attention to detail ! The gallery itself is set within the stunning surrounds of domaine St Hilaire where a nature walk is also offered as part of the visit with various stone sculptures . Depending on the viewing angle and time of day, they offer a different and varied angle over the local landscape. It’s a relatively easy stroll that will please both young and old alike.
Encompassing the visit is a tasting of the domaines wines, where a diverse and creative range of red, whites and rose ensures something for all tastes.
Apparently the exhibition changes every couple of months so I’m looking forward to my next visit! A great time had by all!

Un marché très vivant une bonne parrtie de l'année , c'est le dimanche qu'il est le plus animé . On y trouve bien sûr des producteurs mais également différents commerçants non alimentaires.
C'est le jour le plus animé de Meze

Family winery, vineyard of 80 hectares, Domaine les Yeuses has been owned by the Dardé family for the last 40 years. Located in Mèze, between the Mediterranean garrigue and the Etang de Thau, the vineyard is either on clay and lime soil or on sandy soil. The Mediterranean climate sustains the grapes throughout the year. The sea proximity adds some freshness at the end of maturation just before the harvest. So the fruit characteristic, typical of the wines from shore is well maintained. We make use of the different kinds of terroir in order to offer Pays d’Oc IGP wines focusing on elegance and pleasure. White grape varieties are grown on sandy soil where they best express their characteristics (Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Vermentino, Viognier and Muscat). Red grapes are set on clay soil which is more adapted to get a good concentration of fruit, structure and power in mouth (Carignan, Cinsault, Merlot, Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet, Marselan).
Looking forward to our return to Loupian in June for our normally 6 weeks stay but this year we have managed to secure a 9 week stay at our superb friendly campsite in loupian. We have been fortunate to be able to stay here for the past 20 years. We always use the cooperatives in the area.We stumbled on Domaine Les Yeuses about 8 years ago and have not looked anywhere else.We enjoy all of their wines, red, white and rose.Looking forward to our next visit sipping their superb wine whilst enjoying a BBQ in fantastic weather at our beautiful campsite in Loupian

This is a winery that has won gold medals for it's wine. Situated Just west the 613/51 circle, this little winery has a beautiful setting. You won't get cellar tours or a tour of their wine making processes, instead you'll get a pretty straight away tasting of some of the nicest wines of the region. Of special interest to me was the "Folie d'ines" white wine. It consists of Roussanne, Viognier grapes and produces a wonderful mouth feel and finishes with a creamy consistancy. Its' a wine worth seeking out. Note, they are closed on Sundays.
