The Pinnacle

Reviewed By brokebrooke - South Australia, Australia

We parked at the sundial car park and walked to the pinnacle from there. We departed about 6am in order to arrive for the sunrise. A great hike, took about 45 minutes up and the sunrise was amazing to watch.

Thoroughly recommend Pomonal Estate to anyone looking for great wines, beers and ciders. Not to mention plenty of delicious food options too. Friendly and engaging hosts Adam and Pep will make you feel welcome and the views of the Grampians are beautiful. -Jason & Emma

Boroka Lookout

Reviewed By Emma O

By far the most rewarding hike in the Grampians. The 360 views at the top are amazing and its a very quiet track making it a little more peaceful than the Pinnacle for example. Its of a medium-easy level. Take lots of water and most definitely a camera.

Halls Gap Zoo

Halls Gap Zoo is Victoria's largest regional privately-owned zoo. View over 160 different species, including Giraffes, Cheetahs, Monkeys, Crocodiles, Kangaroos and Koalas along a 2.5Km wheelchair friendly path. Halls Gap Zoo is involved in several captive breeding programs for endangered species. Enjoy one of our animal encounters hand feeding the meerkats, playing with dingoes or holding an alligator or snake. Facilities include kiosk for snack food and souvenirs, a playground, toilets and an all-weather picnic area with free use of BBQ's. Bus tours, school groups, corporate events and family gatherings welcome

It was very interesting to walk round and enjoy the zoo at our own pace. It was a shame some enclosures were being refurbished so missed out on seeing the Koala and Tasmanian Devil but pleased they are improving conditions for the animals and helping endangered species. Would recommend a visit to both the young and not so young

this sort of thing has always fascinated me and after arriving at his studio we realised that we own one of his pieces, we had the pleasure of watching them making a large bowl, it was interesting and they were quite willing to chat and explain what they were doing

Literally 25m from the car park gets you to this viewing area.
Superb view across the Grampians and wish we’d tried for the sunrise/sunset views.
A 20 min walk will also get you to The Balconies for the same view.
About a 30 min drive from Halls Gap.

Venus Baths Loop

We parked our car just near the Botanical Gardens and entered through those to do the loop to Venus Baths. The walk is easy and the views along the way take your breath away. The Venus Pools are nice, the way the water flows over the smooth rock slabs is great. Well worth a visit

The Balconies

the nicest lookout we've visited in the area. Beautiful view on Victoria Valley and nice overhanging rocks available for pictures! There a re a few spots right at the parking lot but kore a few hundreds of meters farther away that are even better. Certainly worth a few minutes of your time while driving along.

Good information center about Aboriginal culture and history. However, you hardly can expect to see any aboriginal people there! Plenty of facts, and a great place to spend 1-2 hours.

Silverband Falls

Reviewed By Nonochin81 - Singapore River, Singapore

Nice and easy walk to the Waterfalls but the water that flow was relatively very little to the many Waterfalls we visited and looked like a small stream coming down. This might not be great for picture taking but still a good place to drop by if you have the time to spare.
