Stroods immersive escape rooms great for family, friends and team building! What is Time2Escape? Time2Escape is a fully immersive live escape game where you have one hour to escape and work your way through a number of puzzles riddles and games to escape.
Don't be put off by the façade of the building, which is a door in a parade of shops. We did the escape room as a family of four (2 grown up sons) and it was our first time in an escape room. We didn't know what to expect, but the guys running the place were very welcoming (even though we turned up earlier than expected) and were very good at explaining the process and were very professional.
Don't want to give anything away, but once inside the room, you do get fully immersed in trying to solve your way out & you are able to get some hints if you get stuck. We didn't quite get out, but we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely do it again. A good solid hour of fun & ideal for a group.

Steeped in history, The Historic Dockyard Chatham is home to historic warships, a working Ropery, museum galleries and hundreds of compelling stories.
This place is a MUST. Ships, Submarine, Ropery, Exhibitions, is just the start. You need to have at least 2 days to see everything there. The ropery tour is a piece of theatre. Claire was a real character from the time. The submarine tour is also an experience of life on board. Loved the Command of the Oceans multi media tour and seeing the remains of Namur. The staff are really informative and full of details of the history as well as passionate about the dockyards. It was lovely to recognize places from Call the Midwife. The Exhibitions are worth a look too. The life boat history is great for all, as you can go on board some of the boats. Plenty of toilets and places to get refreshments. The ticket price is valid for a year, so you can return again and again. This place is so much more than we we thought. Keep up the good work.

Growing in Christ since AD 604. This is England's second oldest Cathedral. We are home to the Textus Roffensis, the only existing copy of the first code of English Law. Dating from 604 AD, this is the second-oldest Cathedral in England.
Very welcoming volunteers, supported by informative panels and other interpretative aids dotted at strategic intervals around the building. Highlights for me were the memorial to Chard of Rorke's Drift fame, and the wheel of fortune wall painting. Although they ask for a donation from visitors there is no entry charge as such which I think is as it should be.

The Museum tells the story of the Corps of Royal Engineers and how they have helped the British Army live, move and fight for over 300 years. Highlights include 25 Victoria Crosses, Wellington's map of Waterloo, Chard's weapons from the Zulu War, an amazing collection of bridge laying tanks the world’s first useable guided torpedo, a huge piece of the Berlin Wall, a Harrier Jump Jet and an enormous V2 Rocket. The Royal Engineers’ story is one of courage, innovation, skill and endurance which is told through the many galleries, enabling you to follow the evolution of the Sapper from military architects and specialists in siegecraft, to the Army's innovators on everything from diving to surveying, flying to photography and transport to combat engineering. With a host of interactive exhibits, indoor and outdoor play areas, a café and gift shop, there is plenty for all the family – tickets valid for a whole year!
This is a very impressive museum if you are at all interested in the military. There is an impressive display of military hardware...tanks and the like which can be enjoyed from outside. Inside, you will feast on a treasury of military history. Amongst other things...MoreMany thanks for your review - we're pleased to hear you had an enjoyable time with us.

This was our second visit to the Guildhall Museum in Rochester and it was well worth going again. There is so much to see here and something of interest for all ages.
There was plenty of information on the exhibits and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.
One of the highlights for me was the part reconstruction of a Medway prison ship (hulk) on three decks that you can walk through. It was extremely well done and I found it very interesting and thought-provoking as it gives visitors an insight into the horrendous conditions the prisoners had to endure.
This attraction is definitely worth a visit and it’s free!

Visit the Copper Rivet Distillery at Pumphouse No. 5, our beautiful, red brick, Victorian home looking across the River Medway to the historic Upnor. Your tour through the Copper Rivet Distillery is one of the few places in England that you can experience the entire distillation process from grain to glass and will end with a tasting of our crafted spirits.
Took the tour with a group of friends, all from the dockyard. The tour was very interesting, not only talking you through the distilling process, but also talking about the history of the building and the linking of the names of their drinks with naval history. The free gin and tonic at the end of the tour was amazing.
We would thoroughly recommend the tour and their gin (to the point we bought a tour as a gift for someone).

Diggerland is The Ultimate Adventure Theme Park Experience where children and adults alike can ride, drive and operate REAL diggers, dumpers and other full- size construction machinery. Diggerland is the perfect destination for action, fun and thrill packed family days out. Fun for all ages (subject to height restrictions), Diggerland with its 20 different rides and drives and an array of additional activities is the ideal theme park for small to large groups looking for something exciting and truly unique. Get to grips with real JCBs and 180/360 excavators, take a head-reeling turn or two on the Spindizzy, rise to lofty heights and enjoy the views on the Skyshuttle, enjoy an off-road ride on the Groundshuttle, or have a go on the Dodgems and Go-Karts!
I can’t believe that it’s taken me this long to realize my life’s ambition of becoming a digger driver. Seriously, this place is so much fun that I don’t know who enjoyed it more - my 7-year-old son, my 3-year-old nephew, my sister or myself (both ladies in their ahem, later years). This place definitely isn’t just for boys/men or children. Highly recommended as a truly interactive them park experience.

A beautiful park that accommodates every age. The walks are delightful, the wildlife abundant , a café selling hot drinks and snack and a adventure park for all ages of children. There a many trails one can take either long or short walks. Parking is free and plentiful and just along the way is the ski centre if feeling adventurous. It has picnic benches scattered about and is very popular in the summer with families. The lake/pond area is full of all kinds of birds with the café selling seeds so the children can feed the local wildlife.

Going on board HMS Cavalier brought back memories of the "Chatham Navy Days" back in the late 50's & early 60's when the Navy and the Dockyard would open the Dockyard and some of the Naval ships to the Public . They were fantastic days . The Cavalier is now a Permanent exhibit in the Historic Chatham Dockyard . It is a self guided Tour and there is so much to see on board which gives an insight into how the Crew lived on Board .Highly recommend a visit .

Built in 1087, this castle is one of England's finest and best preserved examples of Norman architecture.
This is a good example of a castle from its time, however it just cannot compare to Dover Castle in terms of value for money and time spent there. It takes very little time to walk around, and without the audio guide there is not much information on display.
