To get there you either book a trip (65 Reais) that will bring you to few other destinations as well as here. Or you just go there on a collectivo (20 Reiais one way) which I did. The collectivo starts when the car is full which means you usually have to wait around an hour. The car drops you at the entrance of the beach club Alchymista where you spend your time. This place is very posh and I wasnt really up for it in this moment. If you want to spend a bit more time here bring some money since the prices here are a bit higher.
Its a beautiful white sand beach and the hammocks in the water are definitely an attraction. For me it was all a bit too commercial.

Paraty was built by Portuguese to transport the gold from Minas Gerais to Rio. Its colonial buildings and cobblestone streets made from this tiny town a great touristic site. One weekend will be enough to roam around the city and to visit the nearby Beaches of Trindade.

The old factory became the Beer Museum. Dynamic, interactive, modern. You can see the story of the beer throw centuries. Another part talk about the history of beer in Brazil, starting from that old factory. And another level we see all old machines (some still working) to follow all production. Of course, at end, we have the pleasure to try some of this excellent beer.

Frances beach is beautiful. If you're not sure whether to go, go.
We visited twice, once during the week and again at the weekend. While the weekend was busier, it wasn't crowded.
The surf here is good and is popular with the locals. Early morning waves are best for beginners, while later on in the day they increase in size.
The sand is golden and clean. There is no seaweed and no signs of fishing. The smell which affects other Beaches in Maceio is not present here.
The beach is large so plenty of room. Parking is available but is chargeable.

Good beach to visit. The height of reefs help create pools that don't disappear during high tide. Water is a bit colder than other Beaches with natural pools. Not too much fish to see compared with Cupe Beach and Natural Pools of Porto da Galinhas. Still a good option to visit once other pools have disappeared during high tide.

One more destroyed paradise beach.
I can't understand the Brazilian way when they go to the beach? They gadering thousands people on a small spot, having food and drinks enjoying their self. In the afternoon they throw all garbage in the sand. Praia dos Caneiros is dirty! There is two big big restaurants or Moore like amjusmentparks where all thousands of people is packed toghter like crowded fish.
There in between on the beach is some sandy spots but they are private.
Don't waist a day here if you don't like thousands of people, unfriendly staff non English spoken at the restaurant and dirt.

Although relatively simple and stately inside, the Cathedral of Stone comes alive at night with a recorded concert of fine music, narration, and even a compliment for the visiting traveler. Exterior lights illuminate the church as the musical score continues, changing colorations and styles as the program progresses. Completely delightful, and an appropriate tribute to our Lord.

A world-class entertainment park with lots of activities for families, especially with children < 10 years of age. While there are only about 4-5 thrill rides, the other rides are very suitable for kids and you can spend 2 very fun days in the park given its variety. We went off-holiday so line times were very short and the stay enjoyable. The park misses some points in not having water-fountains (due to "health concerns", come on, who are you kidding???) and some minor details but overall very organized and reasonably priced for international standards (not cheap for Brazilians though). The character encounter is a bit less than ideal but this is compensated by the carefully played-out shows. Overall, a top experience with guaranteed family fun.

...hot, crowded and difficult to find a parking place. Nothing extraordinary. If you like markets, just take a little extra patience with you... The people are kind and like to help. But I guess I'm over with such places...
