One of the most beautiful Beaches @ the Costa Brava. Little town, beautiful sunset, little shops. Don't go to the restaurants, they look nice but they're expensive and food isn't great. Go early because finding parking is a full time job. Oh, don't forget your camera.

This was our favourite beach in Begur. Relatively small, no service but still fantastic. 5 minutes walk down from Fonda area, just next to Aiguablava. 10 minutes to walk to the kiosk in Aiguablava if you need food or drinks. The views are amazing, a must visit if in Begur.

Nice little beach with few places to eat closeby. Don't go here in the high season expecting a lot of space to move; it is crowded, especially in the weekends

The sandy beach of Aiguablava is not big. It's one of the few sandy Beaches in the area. So it can be crowed. But that's every beach in august. If you come in time around not later then 10:00 O'clock. you will be fine. Park your car is possible not on the regular parking but just in front / right side of it. That will cost you only € 3,-
Because there is a bar and a restaurant at the beachside, it's fun to choose this beach.

The walk up splits people into two camps. If you consider yourself fit, do it. If not, drive up and park in the little carpark. There honestly isn't much of the castle left. (that's why they call it ruins), but the Panorama way across Pals beach to the Islas Medes is stunning on a clear day.
The Catalan flag was flying proudly on the day we went, declaring its support for the independence of the region.

It's a bit secluded and you need to climb a bit but it's absolutely worth the effort. It's tranquil, clean, nice sand and the sea is very clear. Nude sun bathing is allowed, which gives the beach a bit of a bohemien, relaxed atmosphere.

Run by nice people, proposes good service at reasonable price. Great communication. My husband enjoyed his 2 dives. Don't hesitate to go with them.

La Bodeguita del Medio is a musical bar, style cuban, in the center of Begur. Specializing in Cuban and international cocktails. Concerts, animation and dancing, foosball and of course can not miss the best Cuban and Latin music of the moment.
The bar is steps from the main plaza in Begur. The music is excellent for dancing salsa, merengue, bachata or regeton. The cocktails are very good and the ambiance is friendly and fun.
A little piece of Cuba in the center of Begur. Excellent for a fun night after dinner

At the Tourist Office of Begur you’ll find detailed information of Begur: city centre, Beaches, coastal paths and general information of our town. Even though we are a local tourist office, we try to help to the visitor with information of Baix Emporda and Costa Brava.
Begur is lovely only visiting for five days but this was not long enough to see all the places we wanted, which is why we will return
