We dined here having read all the wonderful reviews in TA and we were not disappointed. We had the most wonderful dining experience and enjoyed the most amazing food and great service. We will certainly return next time we are in Calpe.
The set menu is €22 for three courses including half a bottle of wine and a basket of fresh bread. We were also served a delicious amuse bouche of a battered prawn with sweet chilli sauce which was yummy.
For our starters we opted for the pate and scotch egg and for our mains the pork fillet and sea bass followed by the orange and chocolate cheesecake and fruit sorbet. Everything was totally delicious.
We eat out a lot and both agree that this is one of the best dining experiences we have had for many years.
Essential to book.

Really good food, and service. The whole experience adds up to a really pleasant evening food, ambience, service. Two people, three excellent A la carte courses, good wine, total bill 80-100 euros and worth it.Im so happy you enjoyed your evenning,we allways try to make every evenning special , and i hope we can make more and either better evenings in the future thank you very much.

Lovely place with interesting decor and excellent wine cellar. Service was friendly and the owner helped us pick out the perfect wine for our meal. The table we sat at had a lovely view to the sea. We went for the recommended 3 course house menu and everything was delicious.

This Belgian restaurant that is also a small hotel serves consistently good food.
I have frequented this Casa Del Maco many times over the years and never been disappointed.
The cuisine is more French than Spanish but not nouveau.
The setting is fabulous with views to the coast and rock of Calpe
The service is friendly and very professional
I can recommend most things on the menu.
The venue is also perfect for private celebrations.

We read the positive Trip Advisor reviews for El Mirador and decided to have lunch there. We definitely were not disappointed! We ordered the special tapas menu : 5 tapas plus dessert. We especially enjoyed the artichokes with Serrano ham and a poached egg...delicious. The “salteado de corvino” (fish with veggies) was very good, as were the pumpkin croquettes with Pedro Ximenez sauce and the homemade “cocas”. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and the wonderful service. We will be back!

After our second visit to Satari’s we have found the food on both occasions to be very good. The restaurant is well laid out and in winter on both occasions was warm and cosy. The staff here are exceptional, showing friendliness and professionalism in their service. The menu has something for everyone, not that extensive so would become boring if you were say a weekly diner but, for a monthly visit the choice would be ample. I cannot emphasise enough that the staff, the warmth in winter and the quality of food are all something all of the staff and owner take seriously. You will not go wrong by visiting this restaurant.

Was looking forward to eating here with friends.... The food was beautifully presented but had no flavour, which then makes it an expensive experience, the chef needs to taste what he makes and sends out to the customer. The owner was very attentive and pleasing but the seriousness/abruptness of the main waiter and the rudeness of the young tall dark haired waiter makes me wonder if the owner is struggling with harmony amongst his employees. If the owner is Reading this .... You have worker issues and need to address this or get new people to work for you who are happy, helpful and polite. You also need to start tasting what your chef is sending out to the paying clientele.
