We had lunch and dinner at this popular spot. You need a car to get there and the landscape is very nice. Traditional Greek food, nice staff und good atmosphere. A must go.

We went at this restaurant after I've been readed the reviews on TripAdvisor and I'm not regretted. The place it's next to the beach, there is a playground on the beach for those how are with children. The food it's good and the portions are big. The prices normal.

Since it is along the main road we stopped for lunch. They looked at us like we were mad, and said we could eat if we had patience. We had patience but the food we were served was simply terrible, especially the pasta with vegetables. On the other side the check was higher than normal in the area. I would not go back even if it was free.

So, we were staying in Irene's apartments (fabulous) and right adjoining is Tavern Giorgakis. They are a family business, with Irene owning the apartments and George owning the restaurant - all been the fathers family business established 40 years ago. Mother and father still live in an apartment on site and the 2 now adult children run the apartments and restaurants - what a wonderful family legacy.
The food here is fabulous! The house wine at €4 for half a litre incredible. There are about 5/6 restaurants in front of this stunning stretch of beach and this is the best of the bunch.
Nothing is to much trouble for them. They are such a lovely family business, your every wish is their desire to make you happy.
They have tables on the beach, but today, we were sat on the front row of the sunbeds, with the water lapping at our feet. We ordered drinks and finally decided we's like a mixed snack tray to nibble next to the water, rather than formally dining in the restaurant beach seats.
They didn't just bring us a jug of wine and glasses to have under our umbrella table, they brought across a table from the restaurant and laid it a foot away from the water lapping at our feet, with our food. It was incredible. Certainly the best memory I will take away from our trip here.
The food has been fabulous every day and so reasonably priced. This family business is so trusting too - pay us when you've finished and are satisfied! I really wish we were staying longer.
Irene's apartments are great and she is always on hand to help if you need anything and George's restaurant is second to none for food quality, price and service. We will definitely be back!

At Porto Koufo Of Chalkidiki Greece is our Greek Tavern since 1949. Come to our Balkoni in front of the beach and try our Greek Tastes.
Poor food,
Yes it is a general problem in Greece with the quality of service and food during high season in Greece, however there are professionals who really want to make the difference and offer top quality service and food for the dollar, therefore they are always full, and then there are "professionals " like Pefkos who are trying, with an ok service, but the ingredients they are using are certainly low quality. And I do not talk about fish. Fish is either fresh - and there is fresh fish in this area- or it is outdated and dangerous. But what about the tomatoes and cucumbers, what about the olive oil they are using, what about the potatoes and in which kind of oil they cook them? What kind of feta cheese they are using? It is all these small details which are making the difference, between a poor food and an excellent food. And the price is the same. I was not happy with the quality of their food stuff. They had a good service, it was late night, and they took our order, Greek Salad, Feta cheese, Kalamari, (squid) potatoes (french fries) and beer. Well we were hungry after a tiring passage with our sail boat from Skopelos Island - some 60 NM away in bad weather, and my son and I did not manage to eat this meal. It was not edible. Sorry guys- thank you for serving us late (almost midnight) but we left the food and off we went

Good looking resto, with tasty food, but that is all you will get. Portions are rather small, one guy will take your order, others will brings the order, bur hardly you will get exactly what you have order. Ussualy they mix orders. If you have additional order to the waiter thay are not happy to full fill it.
They hardly understand English or any other language. In the end you can not get proper invoice, stateing what you have order, but peace of paper in hand writing with the amont to be paid. If you complain that something you have ordered you didn' t get, that doesn' t reflact the total!!
Acctualy they see you as walking money they entitled to pick up, but very little to deliver. However as mentioned before food is fairly tasty.
I will certanly not returning.

The location is great: Situated at the edge of the small village port, it offers a relaxing view of the sea and fishing boats.
At first glance, it appeared to be another 'bare bones' fish tavern. However, it's toilets were very clean, and we spotted a couple of toddler sits 'parked' at the back in case they were needed.
The fish was great. Highly recommend it!

biefteki and souvlaki have been grilled too long - especially biefteki tasted burned. The fried zucchini were tasty. The decoration was also poor. They served bread without oil and cabbages as we were used to. Prices were ok. Many moscitos were disturbing as well (general problem of toroni).
