We went there for lunch and really enjoyed it. The salad table is not very exciting, but the Rösti potatoes with shrimp and tuna that I had was outstanding! The service was quick, and the food was fresh with a good portion size.
If the weather is nice you can also choose to sit outside on the Terrace.

Knipan has a lunch buffet of 12 eur. I asked if there is anythibg vegetarian (besides side dishes) they said no and kindly got same price offered something from the chef. What arrived was wet grated raw carrot wrapped in a salad leaf and steamed, like a poor mans sring roll plus some mushroom sauce. I didnt much touch the mushroom stuff, the sauce is most often made from meatstock. However a few of the salads that dint contain sausage or fish was edible. Tammisaari, no luck with vege food, dont even mention vegan.

We went here for breakfast, they kindly open at 7 (the equally famous Old town cafe opens at 11) got ggod coffee, juice, sandwiches and shared a sweet pastry. Looking at all goodies my husband could not resist but took another sweet thing (second cup of coffee was incuded in the price). Everything was fresh and delicious, and the staff was helpful in describing the products. They also seem to have a good selection of beautiful birthday cakes ! Our plan is to buy more sweet souvenirs tomorrow when we leave the town.

You can find us by the market square called Rådhustorget, in the centre of Ekenäs. At our restaurant you will be served excellent food with refreshing drinks right in the heart of Ekenäs – welcome!
Unfortunately this restaurant wasn't a pleasant surpise. We had to wait our lunch for about an hour. Grilled pork was overcooked. Tomato-onion salad tasted very strange, only vinegar or something like that. Children's food was extremely salty. A huge waste basket in the toilet was full of paper towels. Our waitress was very nice but she didn't warn us that we will have to wait our lunch a very long time.

We stopped in Ekenäs for a Sunday afternoon coffee and found this pearl. The owner is a lovely, genuine person, and even speaks various languages. The home made patisseries were delicious. The garden is calm and beautiful, and there is a certain feeling of old times. This is a place to discover - both for domestic and foreign travellers.

Albatros Restaurant & Terrasse is a family owned business since 1988, now on it's second generation. We have a delicious and broad A la Carte menu, full bar with drinks and an extensive wine list. Our location is in the Summer Center of Tammisaari, right next to the beautiful marina. We hope to see you on your next visit to Tammisaari, welcome!
This is the best place to eat in Ekenäs (Tammisaari) for us, so far. We've had burgers (next door), pizzas, sallads and so on elsewhere in town before, but with a bit bigger budget we got coeur de filet, perch and pasta served here with a sea view, near the old town. Great quality food, nice presentation. Good service in many languages. Fine dining here is a nice change from the more average places around.

Aaaahhh. Perfect. Blinis were superb (Tip: take the "Lite av allt/Vähän kaikkea version ", small (as starter) or large (as main)). Not the nicest neighbourhood - but compensated by the good food and Excellent service. I'll be back. Soon.

Came here with my dad and the food was great- each dish was based on a waffle with different kinds of spreads and toppings. We both picked "salty" rather than sweet plates, and my mozzarella and pesto waffle was delicious! Prices were good, food was fresh, and I left feeling full. Coffee was great too!

Bossanova is a modern steakhouse in Tammisaari, in the town of Raasepori. We serve by far the best steaks in town from our volcanic rock barbecue, not forgetting fresh side-dishes and seafood. Bossanovas kitchen-philosophy is plentiful portions at reasonable prices. We prepare everything our self from scratch in our own kitchen. This way we can make sure that perfected taste and thought out presentation meet on the plate. Chef Kristian Karnells kitchen is proud of their uncompromising quality. We grow our own herbs and we know the producers from which we obtain our other ingredients. We always know where our food comes from.
We picked this restaurant by chance and were suprised that it has great setting next to sea and offered tasty food. The lication next to camping area made us doubtful, but this truly was a hidden gem. Flank steak melted in our mouths and wine menu made us happy. Not fine dining, still quality and happiness.
