The restaurant is located within the ruins of the Steinsberg castle. If the weather allows, I'd sit outside, in the inner courtyard of the castle. But the three rooms inside are also quite nice. And the waiters all wear medieval costumes.
The food is mostly regional, but there are a few medieval dishes on the menu; I tried the heavily spiced medieval stew with loads of spices, while my spouse went for the roast suckling pig with honey. Both were excellent.
By the way, they advertise a medieval "knights' meal" that takes place every so often, but we haven't tried it.

The server made me feel like a real dummy, and I'm pretty sure was giggling with the other staff about some questions I asked, so I was pretty turned off. Otherwise, seemed like a decent neighborhood restaurant. It is in a nice quiet area and very convenient to the Holiday Inn Express.

ate here whilst staying with a group of friends in the attached hotel, and had very good service & food (although avoid the prawn salad as the prawns taste of absolutely nothing & were all left to one side). The large pizza I had was large & the prices were very good value for money.

We spent a nice evening with the family in this Greek restaurant. We booked a table for a Saturday evening which was obligatory as there were many customers. Service was ok but only one waiter for many clients was not enough even though he tried his best. Overall very good food for a fair price. However you need to bring a bit time and patience. We will surely come back again.

This restaurant is lovely. You sit in these over size barrels all very romantic and unique. You could even shut the door and shut the rest of the restaurant out. Ring the bell when ready. The food is lovely, plenty to choose from. Me and my husband had hot stone meal, the meat was cooking still as it came to the table. Kids had schnitzel and pommes. They loved it!

This is one of our local favorites, and we have taken family and friends often. You can find less expensive Italian food in Sinsheim, but definitely not the same quality! We have favorite menu items, like the Caramelle ai Funghi, and the beef filet with truffle sauce. Their specials and seasonal dishes are great too! We will definitely keep going back.

This is our go-to for Chinese/Thai Takeout and quick dine-in meals. There are 2 other Chinese restaurants in Sinsheim that we have been to, but this one definitely has the best value, in my opinion. Also I am sensitive to msg and I have never had a problem with the food here. The food is tasty, fast, and very reasonably priced, and they have great opening hours.

Expensive but very convenient as it is next to the museum. Dinner choices were limited and not our favorite food items.

The Sinsheim museum is probably the only one where both the Concorde and the TU-144 are on display. After the visit to the museum, it was delightful to find Helget's so close by, maybe within walking distance. And the ambience, food and particularly the dessert was a memorable experience.
