In a natural cave the restaurant La Grotta is born. With it's special position in the heart of Santa Maria La Nova in Scicli. La Grotta has a special ambient which let's you live the perfumes of the typical Kitchen Ragusana. The tastes and specialities will let you live Sicily. Also the great selection of wine from the vineyards will let you be inspired
This is a cosy, delightful place in Grotto. Easy to find it as it's situated on the High Street. The young girl who served us are very smiley and friendly and speaks good English. We had two starters and one pasta and two Tiramisu. They were all very delicious and beautifully presented. They don't serve pizza at lunch time like most Italian restaurants which is a shame, they must be really nice. We were a bit shocked to see our bill was €50, considering we shared one pasta and the portion was very small, but still really glad we came here. Recommend

We stopped here without a booking and were lucky to get a table especially as we total 8 in our party, and it was relatively early still. Menu provides choices across all the categories, and number of options sufficient for everyone without being overwhelming or too few. The Best recommendation I can give is that we all wanted to ordered several dishes as there were a number of mouth watering options. Waiting staff were all really pleasant, and very helpful which made our experience really memorable. Outside street location next to church very beautiful.

We had dinner here with 6 of us and our son. Sara looked after us all so well and was on hand with lots of patience for all our questions for the extensive fish/seafood menu. The food was delicious and presented so well. Definitely recommend. Ps. Make sure you book a table.

L'obiettivo di Al Galù è far sentire tutti come a casa, per regalarvi un'esperienza unica dall'antipasto al dolce. Al Galù è anche cucina vegetariana, vegan e gluten free.
We visited here in early March and it was very quiet at first, but then it usually is in Italian restaurants until at least 9pm. A nice atmosphere although the approach from the main street is less than ideal, past some scruffy publc loos! However the lady owner explained the menu (English translations were due the following day) and between her broken English and my even more broken Italian, recommended a three course (it became 4) sharing menu, which was delicious. First, a slight variation on the famous Sicilian cannola, next a stunning pasta dish made with a local vegetable called carrubo which cannot be overpraised, a fish dish I can't now recall (but I do remeber it being very nice!) and a parfait with rose flavour to finish. Wonderful.

è una pizzeria nel cuore di Scicli
Great with kids. Totally unpretentious place, overlooking the main street. They have a huge variety of pizza toppings, so you will will manage to find your favorite. Large list of different beers.

The restaurant is a excellent representation of regional haute cuisine without forgetting the regions heritage. It beats the Michelin 1 and 2 star places hands down in my book. Fresh ingredients, excellent service and top notch wine list. It is a gem in this beautiful town.

L 'Agriturismo hill of the sun allows you to enjoy the traditional dishes in their simplicity through a set menu consisting of eight starters first two a second water-wine, fresh fruit coffee; the fact remains that on booking you can negotiate changes; to remind our customers that not having the phone line is not possible to make payments through credit cards, therefore we accept cash or checks.
7 of us went for Sunday lunch. Everyone eats at 1pm and for 18 Euros you get 8 antipasti, 2 pasta and 1 meat dish plus wine, fruit and coffee. Not the highest quality cooking but fully acceptable given the low price.

Founded in 1963, today the Caffè Sicilia is also restaurant in Scicli. The kitchen, in line with the name of the restaurant, offers typical products km0 and the excellence of the Sicilian territory, a land of great culinary tradition. The dishes used in the restaurant are in Caltagirone ceramics, element that characterizes even more your dining experience in Sicily.
This was our third stay in Scicli using B&B Scicli and the breakfast aspect is provided at Caffe Sicilia. On arrival the first evening, we were greeted like old friends. It is a very friendly family owned Café restaurant. During summer months, all the tables are set-up outside in the square under huge umbrellas and the staff rush across the road between the café and the Seating area.
Breakfast was always fruit, some sort of savoury and pastries washed down with tea or coffee, copious quantities were supplied. We were in Scicli as an orchestral group of some 40 people and most of us were breakfasting here. It was also a convenient place to meet others of the group so much cold beer was consumed and the wine by the glass was very drinkable. Their Aranchini are delicious and very filling as a snack but if you want something more substantial, their Spaghetti Vongole was delicious. All the items from the menu were generously portioned and favourably priced. Another speciality is their ice cream and granitas and a local practise to have a granita for breakfast and their ‘Mulberry’ granita is delicious.
We had several late evenings here and when I asked when do you close I was asked when would I be leaving; I am sure if I had stayed until breakfast they would still be serving me!!
Yes it’s a friendly family owned and children friendly eating and drinking venue, thoroughly recommended.

Very expensive for a very basic & disappointing food. Mixed vegetables were dry and almost burned, 2 slices of zucchini and 2 slices of eggplant with burned salad. No taste and no diversity. Grilled mix meat platter: only chicken and pork, not the best parts and not really grilled. Service is OK. The location and the decoration is nice, that's all.
