Visited this place for the second time after 10 years. Place is getting better and more beautiful. Went there for a lazy day. Having beer in the beautiful garden under the sun in winters feels so good. This place is a good choice for day + night time, at night they have camp fire. Highly recommend to everyone.

New Nepali Kitchen is Family run, small resturant which serves quality Nepali, Indian and continental food
The New Nepali Kitchen is a tiny and tidy little family restaurant in the streets of Saudahra. The food is simply amazing. They offer the tastiest Nepali dishes I’ve ever eaten. You can choose literally everything of the menu and will be more than satisfied. They prepare the delicious food freshly in front of your eyes and are masters in using delicate typical spices. Especially Masala Papad, Peanuts Sandheko, Fried Dal, the Curries and Momos are outstanding. The family is always friendly and everybody helps with preparation and service. We went there every time we could and I promise you won’t regret it if you do the same.

This is positioned in a few steps from the Rapti River by offering the closest Sunset views with beautiful lounge and banquet facilities, a unique setting in the heart of Sauraha, an enthralling place. Our Seating offers a truly comfortable and acceptable atmosphere accompanied with a fun and untailored bar locale. Each Seating area is a welcoming destination on its own, and all together they create an energetic and uniquely gratifying experience. One can enjoy your dinner with overlooking the glorious sunset view from the hotel with large variety of food items, wine and our chef cuisine will delight you. We have a large reserve of domestic and imported wines not only that fine wine is an appropriate complement to a high-quality meal.
As a group of 10 we were provided with a buffet of local dishes, including an entree of delicious soup. The food was all very flavorsome although the chicken was a tad tough but delicious never the less. The manager, Shashi Shrestha produced a dish of their local spicy chutney when he heard that I liked spicy/hot food. It was very nice and perfectly hot. An enjoyable lunch sitting by the river.

Friendly owner, explained the food festival and some local customs to us when we asked while waiting for our milkshakes. Chocolate milk shake was essentially choco milk but vanilla one very nice. All blended with ice cream and ice. Bit pricey but better end of quality for Western drinks in Nepal. Refreshing stop in Chitwan heat.

We had burgers which were alright and the chicken sizzler which came with tasteless spaghetti. The food arrived after over an hour and the drinks even after that. Very strange. The whole staff seemed uncoordinated and overstrained, however they were super nice. Definitely trying to avoid such a place in the future.

River Pub Park is a place to relax and spend time with friends. We have a great open space for socializing directly at the river and a view onto the forest. In the evenings we enjoy the amazing sunset which settles just opposite to our chill out area. Some evenings we do BBQ and sit together at the bonfire. We Have tents, budget rooms and tree house for foreigners at very cheap price.. River Park Pub is located minutes walking distance from Sauraha center. The village is quite small and everything can be reached within walking distance. We are located directly at the Rapti River with a view onto the Chitwan forest. We offer a big open green space bit away in a peaceful place from the main tourist road.
This is a fantastic place for a sunset drink. Especially as each drink we ordered came with a surprise bowl of free popcorn! It's slightly away from the hubbub of the town so is very peaceful. Once the sun went down we enjoyed relaxing in our deck chairs admiring the stars. The staff were friendly and the prices were cheap (ignore the $$$$ on TripAdvisor!). Highly recommended for a relaxing escape.

We visited this restaurant on recommendation by a friend. It was a terrible experience with firstly the Waitress being miserable and everthing we asked for was an inconvenience. The food came out all wrong which lead to food standing cold whilst waiting for rice to be cooked. The cocktail offer is a rip off, you have to buy two before you get one free and they arrive in extra small wine glasses, I've never seen a cocktail presented this way before. We did not return and ventured over the road to Bay Leaf Restaurant to which did not disappoint in anyway. Friendly happy staff that were extremely hospitable and even open early in the morning to accommodate your early departure if you ask them. I would definitely NOT recommended Jalapeño!,

Best Coffee & Breakfast in town.
I stayed in Chitwan for 3 days and Aroma Cafe was my favourite place for enjoying a good coffee after a nice day. The quality is comparable with European coffee and made me forget that I was in Nepal. If that is not enough, the staff was incredibly friendly and always wanted their guests to feel comfortable. Apart from that, the Wi-Fi is free and super fast.
I will definitely recommend this place to friends and will be back if I ever have the chance!
