Stylish, local eatery serving great food and good Portuguese wines. Daily changing menu and specials of the day. Delicious desserts and homemade ice cream. Extensive cocktail list and aperitifs for pre dinner drinks. South facing outdoor dining Terrace open in warmer months. Our staff are well imformed, friendly and multi lingual and the whole team is dedicated to making your dining experience really special.
We visited A Quinta after seeing the trip advisor reviews and were not disappointed. This is one restaurant I would recommend to anyone and everyone who visits Portugal and stays within driving distance. Food was delicious & plentiful, wine great too, lovely atmosphere and very friendly and hospitable staff. Such a lovely evening - thank you!

Thank you to waiter Rashid for his great sense of humour, and the lovely Dutch owners for the stunning food and service. Yes it is a little expensive but it is worth it.
This is definitely the place to impress a first date, or even the lady I love or on your own or even better with clients \ guests \ family. Heck just go there!

Taken for a birthday celebration, what a treat!
Lovely outside ambiance, highly attentive staff, and a menu to die for. The food was of the highest standard also!
I agree that the spider crab mix was brilliant, the veal chop was especially memorable, pity it was the only one available that evening, I was lucky to get it!
However the various fish the others chose were fresh and plentiful and much enjoyed.
The men just left enough room for 2 apple and plum crumbles, but with 4 spoons!
A must for a return very soon.

We come to this part of the Algarve regularly throughout the year. It has been some years since we dined in this quaint little restaurant on the main road into Almancil. We made up for our non attention to this place recently and were very pleasantly surprised that it's food, wines and service remain good and worthy of being there.
We will return having good memories of a lovely evening dining in the garden at the rear of the restaurant.
Good valued place to visit. Very pleasant waitress from Romania who speaks fluent English and Portuguese.

We have enjoyed lovely meals at Florian for many years. The food has always been excellent and the service friendly and efficient. The restaurant had an elegant and up-market feel to it although it was always relatively expensive. But our recent meal there in early November was a huge disappointment. The food was still excellent but our evening was spoilt by the management's introduction of loud and raucous music which meant that having a conversation over dinner was difficult if not impossible. Also the chef appeared in the restaurant dressed in dirty jeans and a grubby T-shirt which poses questions about the hygiene in the kitchen and was entirely inappropriate for a restuarant of this style. The price remains high and, for the first time, we were reluctant to pay it.

A family restaurant that for more than 30 years is concerned with the excellence of its meats and fish freshness. Enjoy a drink in our bars and enjoy a memorable experience.<br>Only dinner and closed every Sunday.
Excellent meal with friendly service. Dropped by on an out- of- season Friday night, and probably should have booked. Interesting menu and imaginatively executed. I had the prawn and clam starter with a cheese topping, followed by flambe, Sea Bream. Others in our party had the Chateaubriand, Toledos of beef and Chicken - the beef dishes came with their own hot stone - allowing cooking to taste and offered with a range of flavoured sauces.
Puddings were also excellent, though I asked for a cheese board - not offered on the menu - which did not seem to cause the kitchen any problems. Again very good. Would highly recommend a visit !

Have eaten here with friends on a number of occasions over several years and the restaurant maintains a consistently good standard. Personally prefer the ambience of the courtyard compared to inside. The water noise from the Fountain I find very relaxing.
We have always been received in a way that makes us feel most welcome and the service is friendly and attentive. I do echo a previous reviewers comment about some staff members struggling with English - my friend wanted a simple variation to his dessert and really struggled to get it across and ended up with something completely different to what he believed he had ordered.
The cover here is very generous and good and if you don't have a particularly large appetite you should consider having either cover or starter but not both. You also get loads of complimentary goodie and port at the end of the meal.
My prawn starter was very nice but my main of Sea Bass was absolutely superb. My wife and a friend had the duck. Would appear that one breast had been badly butchered and both found bone fragments in the dish. Both I'm afraid are of the nature that this took the gloss off what was otherwise a nice dish. The flambé strawberries are to die for!
Whilst you'd pay a lot more for a meal of this standard back home there are other restaurants in the area of a similar standard which offer better value in my opinion.

With a youthful and elegant atmosphere, Piazza Restaurant is a well-located and pleasant place, where you can enjoy a meal full of Italian flavours. In 2002, Angelo Bucciero moved with his family to the Algarve from Cambridge, England, where he already owned two successful restaurants. And he opened his first restaurant in Santa Barbara de Nexe, which was inaugurated in mid-July, serving the best of Italian Cuisine - home-made lasagne, cannelloni and other pasta specialities, with meat, fish or poultry. The specialities include: .: Steak with gorgonzola and a brandy cream .: Chicken breast stuffed with shrimp, served with lobster sauce .: Shrimp marinara risotto and scampi with sauce. It also has a wide variety of international wines. Entertainment with Live Music every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
We visited on a Saturday evening; about half the tables were full, with the majority of diners in family groups (including young children). The staff were welcoming and attentive and the service quick (but not too quick). The food was very good, with the Italian dishes the most enjoyable. Good quality food for a reasonable price means that we come back here year after year during our holidays.

Typical Greek restaurant ,with authentic Greek dishes
My first experience at a Greek restaurant of this type, where you put your faith in the chef to bring pleasant surprises to your table throughout the meal. I can honestly say that this is now in my personal "top ten" lifetime dining experiences thus far. A big part of the pleasure is simply the anticipation of what's to come -- kind of like a suspenseful movie -- and then getting your tastebuds rewarded for the trust you've invested. This guy is a major talent who "makes love" to his guests with homemade, authentic Greek flavors and ingredients of superior quality and freshness. After a two-hour meal, I worried about my ability to walk back to the room considering how pleasantly stuffed I was. A dining experience that alone justifies a visit to Loulé. 'Nuff said!

We ate here three times, partly because it was a short walk from where we were staying and also because the food was generally very good, particularly the seafood
