i spent 2 weeks in this residence with my wife and daughter... we come from Roma.
In Italy i payed in order to rent a small apartment, a "studio" with kitchen and mezzanine with bed and fornitures.. in Corsica i found a sort of old bungalow with old windows, broke bug screen, durty bath, drying rack rusty, few forniture and NO SHELFS in the room for having place to put our things.
Almost everyday i had to ask to other people to leave our seaside beach umbrella and sunbed because they occupied it.. when i finally was on my sunbed i did can admire constant noise of skyjet water bike on the sea!
I mean that there were 2 big fails:
- italian tour operator (ALPITOUR) that sold us a bungalow calling it "mini-apartment", with a mini apartment price of course!
- "brises de mer" organization because they support you and help you only if you can hardly complaining everyday
food is nice and pizza is good, but one bottle of sparkling water is priced 5 euro! :-)
my opinion about brises de mer is "avoid it": with same money you can find lot of better place in Corsica.
have nice holiday to all people

This was the first night of our holiday and were tempted in by the menu. I opted for rib eye steak which was excellent. My wife was impressed with her beef skewers. The kids menu was limited but they had pasta which never disappoints my two. We didn't get Deserts but the ice creams look good.
The service was good although the toilets could have been better. The Seating next to the beach has good views of the sea

We have been going to A Pota Marina for a few years, since I have family in the region and we visit every summer. This year we went with a group of friends, and as everyone found it was very good food at an excellent price, we returned several times and were never disappointed. The service is good and friendly, great choice of food, a great deal (3 course meal for 16 Euros) and the location is ideal.

Large family group of 12 of us had lunch there the food was excellent and the service great.
Really good value the pizzas are superb and the brochettes of seafood was great.
Staff really friendly and enjoyed helping us order in our long forgotten school French.
The location is very atmospheric all tables under the shade of lemon trees giving a nice relief from the afternoon sun.

We went with a dear friend who took us for lunch at this restaurant on our way to Aleria, from Bastia.
It was really good. One of the best meals we had in Corsica.
Everything was excellent. I had moules with pommes frittes and they were awesome.
Looking forward to go back.

We had an apartment less than 5 mins from here so decided to give it a try. I had the pasta Arriabatta which was very nice. My wife had prawns and san Jacques although she felt they were a little undercooked of her liking. The kids menu was limited although our 2 enjoyed the pasta Bolognese. The setting is very good and we had a table over looking the beach.
The kids had an ice cream desert so I had the warm apple crumble which was superb. Toilets were very good and the service was decent. Worth a try.

We had travelled down the East coast so by the time we retuned to San Nicolau we wanted some quick tasty food. We were not disappointed. Great range of burgers and at quite decent prices. My Rosti burger was excellent and my son had dips aux pollute which were tasty. Service was very good and the kids enjoyed their meals too
Toilets were very clean

Arriving in Moriani, you might prefer head to the beach for food. You might be right. But a cantina di Matteu has probably better products than the seafront restaurants do. Everything is authentic, locally sourced and tasty. The wine selection is great and you can buy an amazing selection of rare Corsican wonders to take home with you. The staff and especially the owner, who was born and raised in the village, are also very welcoming and charming.
If you're in the area, you need to go take a look. And if you want any souvenir, a nice bottle of wine is better than a lousy t-shirt.

"U TAVANINCU" is a traditionnal restaurant in a little village near from Bastia. You just have to climb the mountain's begining to take advantage of the view all in enjoying savour of fresh product and homemade ready-cooked dish. With the view, you're totally immersed in the middle of balance of nature between the mediteraneen sea and the Corsica's greenery. It would be better to reserve.
We found this restaurant while staying in nearby talasani - it is high in the Mountains with a Terrace affording spectacular views of the distant coastline and the isle of monte christo.
Food - well this was as good as the view. We had a shared octopus salad starter which was well presented and sufficient for two. It was tasty and well presented. Our mains were a local veal steak with a herb butter, it was first class and cooked well. The flavours were delicate and subtle. The other main was a homemade ribbon pasta with local charcuterie called lonzo and corpse mushrooms. Again very good.
Overall the food was as good as the view and if visiting this beautiful area make sure you visit this restaurant. Our only regret was that we were flying home and didn't get the chance to try another meal!
