The food as usually was amazing and the staff wonderful. On top of that, when we asked them to call a cab and none were available as there was "something" going on, a gentleman offered to drive us back to the Posada and we had a great conversation with him in regard to his schooling etc. as he plans to be a lawyer. What a great end to wonderful night!

A hidden gem..
Not only the garden setting is perfect..the food is completely authentic Mexican fare..
Served with a smile & presented with flair..
So many items on the menu sounded mouth watering..it is definitely warrants maybe 2 or 3 more return visits..I would say..a lot more visits..

First visit this year for our winter in Ajijic.
Different specials almost everyday..very unique flavours..
3 of us had the Beef Patty with pulled Pork, bacon, cheese, tomato & lettuce Burger..Coleslaw & Fries..OMG...A full meal deal..Very good..We ordered it well done & it was cooked perfectly..
We have learnt for other experiences..( in other restaurants ) do not order medium..it will arrive almost raw..
Our friend had the Salmon..He said it was perfect..
Always a bit noisy eating outside..But great for people watching..

Yves’ Restaurant Bar was created to provide diners with a complete dining experience – food, ambiance, and service are each equally important. Yves’ is never complicated or pretentious; it is dedicated to delighting all the senses while providing an excellent value.
4 of us went for lunch..on a lovely sunny day.. Setting was lovely by the pool surrounded by Gardens & Donkeys.. 2 had the Patty Melt..It was good, nice use of Pumpernickel bread..but have had..better elsewhere.. A BLT was enjoyed also served on Pumpernickel....And I...MoreThank for your opinion

I have read many reviews of La Vida Bella restaurant, both good and bad. My wife and I and a handful of friends dined at this fantastic restaurant on Christmas day. The stunning view of the lake, the food and service were second to none. Of the bad reviews of this restaurant, the authors must have had a bad day! Of the many fine restaurants in the Lake Chapala area, this one is right at the top.

A great place to eat when you visit Chapala, amazing views, free boats rides, delicious food and a familiar environment.
Lovely setting & interesting entertainment..Birds being feed from the Dock..quite the noise..
Our food was good..Nothing too special..Pulpo was good but not expecting so much BBQ sauce..
We were very surprised by the Bill for 4..
Very expensive lunch...
I think the price went up with the add on of an appetizer....( that was suggested by our waiter..) Our meals & drinks were not expensive..quite reasonable..so the only explanation of the amount of the bill..was outrageous..The Scallops for 3..a large amount..& good..Just a surprise..Not sure if we will return..

Love this restaurant. Back there often on Sunday. Great band, great food. The service is great too, although the drinks such as pina coladas are very small and not worth the price.

The restaurant is part of the Monte Coxala Spa with a truly amazing view over Lake Chapala. Apart from the view I was extremely disappointed. Compared to the prices the food was more average then reflecting the prices. The restaurant offered an extra menu for prime rib cut steaks from 350 to 500 pesos. Three of us decided to go for a prime rib cut. Medium-rare, medium and well done. When asking the waiter after 40min without food (we were the first guests that ordered) he seriously told us that our steak needs to cook longer because of the good meat quality. After finally getting our steaks - they were cold and we had to give them back to heat them up again. In addition my steak was raw instead of medium-rare. A cook in a high price restaurant should know how to prepare a proper steak. For a great view I can recommend the restaurant - food wise i can't recommend. Way to expensive for what they deliver.

There for the Friday Night Prime Rib Special.
Not for those on a budget..but for a special occasion.
Caesar Salad..very nice dressing..
Prime Rib Huge & very Tender..looked like Prime Rib should..Medium rare..nice & pink..
But for me..Tatse of PR not there..All I could taste, was Mesquite.. Not my favourite flavour..
Other than that..a lovely evening & food was very good..Tables not crowded together, as it is in some restaurants...Arileo was pretty much at capacity..but did not feel uncomfortably close to the next table..

This restaurant opens only at the weekend and is designed for large family outings on Sundays. We went on Saturday and the total occupancy was just one other couple in the 200-seat area. The grounds and view of the Lake are quite stunning and the food excellent. We had the BBQ beef which was done perfectly, although a little more pricey than in Ajijic. Not surprisingly, the service was also excellent.
