We stayed in La Laguna last weekend and found this restaurant. It was an absolute delight and we will definitely go back when we are next in La Laguna. The menu was a breath of fresh air as it used local ingredients with a twist....MoreThanks a lot for all your comment. We are delighted that everything has been to your liking. TASCA TIPICA CANARIA, MUY BIEN DECORADA, COMIDA BIEN ELABORADA, BUEN TRATO Y NO ES CARA,
I had previously eaten at this restaurant (about 3 years ago) so it was easy to decide again for a nice dinner. The service was even better than the first time and the food was simply excellent. We shared assorted croquettes and beef steak which was cooked just right. The three sauces - alioli, mojo rojo and roquefort were a delicious supplement. I also had the soup of the day, which was a pumpkin cream soup with garlic spiced croutons and aged gouda cheese. Everything was perfect and reasonably priced.

Found this organic bar/restaurant on the less busy street leading to the market square. Just asked for a large salad, offered spelt (which I love) roll when I enquired on bread choice. Owners friendly and helpful, Angelo will translate to English from Spanish menu.
Though didn't stretch their cooking abilities with my request, food well served with high quality ingredients, which is all that I needed. On expensive side, but am keen to support this kind of Enterprise. Liked sitting out in location away from most tourists/bars.

Food is amazing, we took the 5 course tasting menu. Varied, tasty and great fresh and healthy ingredients. The best meal we had in Tenerife. Sure the location is somewhat outside the centre of Laguna but it’s well worth the easy walk or just park...MoreThanks a lot for your kind review

Our food included a selection of tapenade -style vegetable dips (olive, tomato, artichoke), including the local cheese with pimentos, tataki beef, fabulous tomato, cheese, and avocado salad, a lovely chocolate pudding with the local maize meal speciality, gofio, adding crunch and texture. Plus an excellent bottle of local white wine, and some local dessert wine. Very good value. Very charming and helpful hosts. Full of appreciative local diners. We have re-booked!

Hidden in a small village on the outskirts of La Laguna (Tenerife Norte) we found this absolutely adorable small restaurant. It has four tables and they should be always full. So book in advance!
We tasted various dishes at this really refined restaurant. The chef made of each dish we had choosen 3 small portions,so we all could taste everything. It was wonderful and very delicate. The service was very personal with the chef closeby... We had one fo the most beautiful luncheons at La Comera I enjoyed in many years. great place for food lovers.

It is in the heart of La Laguna, where we find a corner where our desire to enjoy the best cuisine, wrapped by a cozy atmosphere, becomes a reality. The Taberna Ossuna is committed to offering a place where, not only can we taste innovative dishes but also, our clients enjoy a pleasant and satisfying stay, intending to record, in each of those who come to visit them, a beautiful memory. Therefore, for the Ossuna Tavern, the greatest prize with which they can award them is customer satisfaction.
We went here for lunch as our favoured restaurant was closed! What a little treasure this turned out to be. We had croquettes to start with which were delicious .For main course my husband and I both had the sirloin steak cooked how we liked it which was with no blood. Normally if you ask for steak to be cooked this way it's as tough old boots but this was succulent, just perfect. Desert was Lemon meringue pie and Chocolate cake both very good. Our bill came to 44 .20€ including a glass of wine and two coffees. Definitely a place to try. We will visit this restaurant again for sure. Also the staff were very friendly even though our knowledge of the Spanish Language is minimal.

They had an option of 8 different mini-burgers, which we chose. Sometimes you get different versions of the same thing, just to give you a feeling they try and be able to charge more, but that was not the case here. Each mini-burger was both delicious and unique. Even the vegetarian hamburger was delicious, which was a real surprise to us. We did not try a regular-size hamburger, so I do not know if they make those as delicious. However, locals around me took full-sized ones, so I wouldn't worry about that.
Other than the hamburgers, we had great chips from white sweet potatoes and local beer. I apologize for not being able to testify about the desserts, which looked tempting, but had we had room for dessert, we would have had more hamburgers (yes, they were that good).
Two last comments:
1. If you do not speak the language and have problems with mouton, or things like that, verify what you are about to order.
2. This is a small place, which means that: (1) if you are a group, you may want to consider other places, and (2) if you are local and the place is packed, I apologize.

Bistro Tapaste offers vegan food, all home made and healthy. From Monday to Friday there is a daily menu that includes soup, main dish and dessert with 9,90.
We arrived without booking but were warmly welcomed and given a reserved table with a caveat that it was booked for an hour and a half ahead. The fixed menu was very good. I don't usually go for veggy but if there was more like...MoreWe thank you for choosing our place and for sharing your opinion. Having toured the island for a bit of time, this was by far the best dining experience I had.
This restaurant really makes an effort in providing excellent food at a reasonable price.
I have the molten cheese on toast as an appetizer. Simply excellent. I then had a steak, cooked to perfection, with a very good blue cheese sauce. Yummy!
Service was very friendly and efficient.
The price is very reasonable considering quality.
Fully recommended!
