We came here for an early dinner after visiting Al Balid archaeological park and museum of Frankincense land. Quick friendly service with excellent food, definitely a step up from resort food. It’s not a gourmet setting or experience so won’t suit everyone but if you’re after realistically priced tasty food rather than the over priced unimaginative buffets of blandness at the assorted resort hotels between here and Mirbat then definitely give it a try.
We shared houmous chicken shawarma to start with, fighting over the last scraps (not very Valentine’s-y but we’ve been married too long for all that rubbish). Salad on the side, then had a meat kebab and grilled fillet of local fish to follow. The kebab was beautifully cooked and flavoured and the fish we perfectly cooked, coming with a very pleasant bowl of oil, garlic and lemon to dip into. Cubes of watermelon and cinnamon tea to follow; this along with the lemon mint drink took me back to the street cafe we used to frequent in Aleppo, sadly no more.

Salalah's best hangout venue. Casual Restaurant/Pub setting with amazing food (including the best steaks in town) and a wide selection of beers, wines, and spirits. Beautiful views of the ocean with both inside Seating and an amazing outside Terrace Seating area.
It is a long walk from Oman's Cruise terminal so cruise passengers have two options: wait for the free shuttle or rent for a taxi outside. Its restaurant offers international foods like British, Indian, Mexican, Filipino, etc. I ordered their Biryani for only 4.2 omani rial. It consists of huge serving of biryani with raita and popad. I must say that they cooked the best biryani ever!
As for the place itself is cozy. On their wall visitors can see all the money collections of the owners, the plaques given to them by their visitors and the other recognitions of people. Flags of different countries are hanging on their ceiling as well. It makes visitors feel of traveling around the world without living Oman.

I stayed at Hilton Salalah for 9 nights for my vacation and on the first night of my stay I visited this Palm Grove for my dinner and took the Lobster. It was really a big surprise that I could get so good dish of Lobster.
As result of my surprise and admiration, I came back here 7 times for my dinner for the Lobster.
I want to mention the following points;
1) I love the LOBSTER offered here very much !
2) Every Chef ( Just some names; Mr. Radesh, Mr. Sanjay, Mr. Simon, Mr. Bernard ) is wonderful and they grilled the Lobster in the best way that I experienced in my life.) They are so tasty really. As I told already, during my 9 nights stay, I took there the Lobster 7 nights and I wonder why I did not fee tired of eating it. I enjoyed every night.
I think it is simply because it tasted so good ! At firs the lobster itself must be very good and then the Chefs must be also very talented. Thank you very much.
Mrs. Imelda and her friends service are also very good.
3) On the neighboring site, the new hotel is under construction. But despite of that , the view from this restaurant facing the white beach is very good and consequently the atmosphere is very good for every purpose.
3)One time I took the catch of the day for my lunch.
It was also very tasty.
Highly recommended.

Stopped in here for a quick dinner. Place wasn't super busy. The menu has lots of delicious options, and we got a ton of food for a very small price. Really enjoyed everything. Service was just fine. Nothing at all to complain about here. A good escape from the high food prices at the local resorts!

To call the stuff uninspired is a political correct statement. You have to call the waiter for ordering, there was no consulting e.g. that main courses come without rice if you don‘t ask for it explicitly. Later there was no action taken e.g. to ask for satisfaction, they were standing close to the walls looking to the ceiling.
The big surprise was the great quality of drinks and food, needless to mention the very low pricing - see the picture of our invoice, two drinks and two main courses were charged with approximately 14 Dollars only. I never experienced before a similar gap between quality of service and food. The guy in the kitchen obviously knows how to cook excellent food, but the manager should replace some of the bored waiters as soon as possible.

I love Udupi and go here regularly. The food is always fantastic, fresh and increibly good value. Amazing thalis at lunch and fantastic dosas at dinner. Not the smartest looking place to sit but it is functional and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. You wont get better food - and definitely not at this price!

Clean place; tasty and variety food available especially Kerala Dishes. This is an ideal joint for the Spicy lovers. We were a group of 10 adults with 5 kids. The service was good and waiters were helpful. A good budget hotel.

Set aside endless stretch of white sand beach, in a relaxing tropical ambiance where the decor is the picturesque Indian Ocean, serves luscious salads, sandwiches, burgers with a fine a la cart menu in the afternoon and sumptous theme buffet in the evening. Hubbly-bubbly "Sheesha" pipes are also available in wide variety and flavors. A perfect casual retreat for every guests.
Went there on a Tuesday night. They had a Mediterranean / Lebanese / Syrian buffet. Food was good, but unfortunately a little toned down with spices - typical for a restaurant in a hotel. Well prepared, nothing to complainThe view is about but also nothing really memorable.
Seating is directly at the beach relatiovely close to the waves. Service was friendly, but not super efficient.

Delight your senses with distinct cuisines; Mediterranean, Japanese, Asian, and Indian crafted to capture the essence of Eastern Cooking meeting Western Cuisine. This restaurant represents the basic life elements creating a new culinary world that respects traditions but also looks forward to the future.
The restaurant is lovely with a very good selection of food, however it is important to highlight that the cost of food is very expensive. (This was our reason for not returning for another evening).
The staff provided excellent service and they were more than happy to accommodate with gluten allergies. I would definitely recommend any dishes with the king prawns as they were delicious.
Very happy overall and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the restaurant.

Located at the lobby level of Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah, overlooking the beautiful landscapes and the infinity pool, it is a place to discover the best the world has to offer with an elaborate buffet breakfast, A la carte lunch and dinner under one roof. Also serves an impressive a la carte all day dining menu. Has an option of indoor and outdoor Seating.
We came for the breakfast buffet, and it did not disappoint! The selection was excellent, with a fantastic variety of Western and Eastern options, and even some surprising vegetarian options.
It was nice to see that there were also a good amount of locals there- you know it's good if the locals come! The view was wonderful out on the Terrace, and the Waitstaff was very engaging. Although it's a bit pricey, I'd definitely say it's worth it if you want to brunch in style.
