We are a progressive pub with loads of local craft beers on tap and in the bottle. We have great Chef Jesse Vergen that seeks out the very best of local ingredients to present an ever evolving menu. We are cutting edge, fun and entertaining...seek a reservation online or give us a shout. We sit on the waterfront in Saint John with great entertainment and a big patio for fun all summer long!
Had lunch here with my company of aprox 25 - 30 people. They sat us in the upstairs upper section, which they usually reserve for large groups. Ordered 2 large pizzas to our hotel room. Price was good, arrived within a decent time, but I was disappointed in the pizza its self. I eat a lot of Takeout and this was just not original. It looked and tasted just like Greco Pizza.

We had a real lucky find just walking thru the old public market and decided to skip the browsing meal from the market vendors and go to a real sit down restaurant for lunch. Well everything was great, right from the super friendly Waitstaff, to the beer and wine and finally their seafood chowder. Get there early as there is always a line but worth the wait, or suffer the Public Market with the cruise ship tourists.

Urban Deli lives up to it's tag line of 'old fashioned. Slightly sophisticated'. We love to put a spin on some favourite old fashioned dishes like our popular meatloaf Sandwich. We have the deli classics like Montreal Smoked Meat and our popular Reuben Sandwich. Urban Deli was featured on the Canadian Food Network's 'You Gotta Eat Here' featuring our Muffuletta & Uptown Big Beef Bad Boy sandwiches and our famous lemon sour cream pie, which has travelled as far as Alberta & Ontario. We also offer catering for lunch or private functions. If you are craving something other than deli, see Italian by Night for our authentic Tuscan Style Italian menu for dinner.
So yummy...I love a delicious well prepared Sandwich. Some places just slap together something and call it a Sandwich, but here they seen to get that and put care into it. The Reuben had sauerkraut that had bacon in it and a favorful mustard on really good grilled bread. The fries were homemade and so good you didn't have to add anything to them. My companion had the meatloaf Sandwich which he said was really good as well. We noticed the place closes at 3pm...so only a lunch place unfortunately.

I can't say enough about Splash. I have yet to have a bad meal here and I think I have gotten something different each time. The Pad Thai is AMAZING. The cashew chicken is to die for. The beef and broccoli is divine.
Even better than all of that??
The carrot cake. Seriously. Trust me.

Every detail of the restaurant, the honesty of the food, the warmth and expertise of our servers and the urban rustic decor all play an integral role in capturing the essence of eating in Italy. Italian by Night is an urban Italian restaurant and bar with a cuisine focused on combining imported Italian ingredients with local seasonal ingredients. We use old world techniques in a modern kitchen.
