Stumbled across this place at lunchtime and no booking, pretty busy but we were directed to a small table in the rear garden area. Food is very good indeed - the special beignets of courgette are a bit special, the local ragu a must... quirky surroundings with lots of strange items place around the walls, sounds crazy but works and I imagine it keeps young minds active trying to spot things. Looking forward to sampling its delights this summer, a great find and excellent value. Thank you!

We had lunch here on a weekday afternoon. We stumbled upon it after finding our first choice to be closed. Most customers sat on the shaded Terrace overlooking the marina. We chose to sit inside to avoid the smokers. Service was fast and friendly from an English-speaking server. As vegetarians, we each ordered the spaghetti aux legumes with olive oil. Since the restaurant is located in a high traffic tourist zone (there were lots of people in town), we were pleasantly surprised to discover how delicious the spaghetti tasted. It was cooked al dente and came very close to authentic Italian in both appearance and taste. The red house wine was very good too. While the portions were large, the price was not cheap but it was reasonable for eating out in Corsica. We can definitely recommend this restaurant based on our eating experience here.

The restaurant at La Roya has only one disadvantage that is usually mentioned right at the end of any review. The mosquitoes! Go prepared with lots of insect repellent especially round your wrists and ankles and you will have a wonderful time.
The staff are great, the food is definitely on trend and delicious - savoury marshmallow anyone? The course of "One perfect egg" was a revelation! The wines are interesting and well matched.

Excellent food, good service and staff. We are here twice on Alan October visit, once outside on the patio. Delicious!

This restaurant is not only a beautiful place perfectly locared on the harbour of Saint Florent. Food is very good and freshly cooked. They make so much effort to source great meat and fish. The most amazing thing for me is the wine list. Obviously full of amazing Corsican wines but also stocked with great Champagne and Vintage Champagne. If you love red wine go for an old Gentile Red or Yves Leccia Red. There are also other amazing wines that I cannot mention here. Service was very professional. I'll go back to this place as soon as possible. You must try the famous ham made by Felix Torre in the south of Corsica.

Fantastic fish-only place, where the amazing freshness is being combined with excellence in the preparation and accuracy in service.
Tuna is a must-have, in any possible way, but the whole menù is worth several visit. Excellent wines. On the bill, you pay for the quality, but with no disappointment.

Great location along the strip of restaurants overlooking the marina. Sat outside in the covered Terrace. Busy day, glad we arrived around midday.
Nice menu, plenty of seafood as you would expect given the location, but with vegetarian options as well.
Huge portions. Enormous gambas. Could have managed quite well with just the starters.Salads good.
Service good, friendly, helpful, found us a nice table. Nice goodbye as well.

The restaurant has a certain clean style and like many others faces out on to the harbour quay side. We got a table around 7 pm when it was still reasonably empty but it soon filled up. Not sure whether you'd need to book to eat at peak evening time.
Although pitching itself as a pizzeria it does have a wide range of other foods, eg, salads, fish and meat course, plus pastas. My wife had a pizza whilst I had a pork mignon stuffed with local cheese and wrapped in ham. My antipasti salad was a very enjoyable mixture of hot and cold, the hot being asparagus, green and red pepper slices, artichoke, and aubergine. Interesting combination which worked. All our dishes were ample, well cooked, and very well presented and washed down (yet again) with the local Corse rose wine. To finish we blew out on two very adult alcoholic ice cream desserts: definitely not for the children unless you want a quiet night!!! Mine made me cough.
Service was friendly, prompt and without fault from start to finish. The whole meal came to 99 euros (c. £70) which did not surprise us since we had read the menu (sic!). The wine was more expensive than our other choices in the week but we had no complaints. This was very much the best meal out we had all week. (As ever, to not put you off you can eat more cheaply here.)
Yes, one to go back to!

We were driving towards St Florent which is at the bottom end of the west side of Cap Corse, in the north of Corsica. The road was quite windy and treacherous and at about one o'clock we stopped at a lovely looking roadside restaurant. This turned out to be a hotel as well and seemed to be a base for off-roading up in the mountainous desert. The restaurant was called U Santu Petru and it was near the village of Saleccia. We had a delightful pasta lunch served outside overlooking the amazing countryside. The staff were happy and obliging and nothing seemed a problem for them. It was a busy little place with lots of people stopping off just to have a look at the view. Certainly if you are driving on this road, this is the place to stop.

Wide choice of menu not only service pizzas. Great service, excellant food (we had the seafood pizza and the salami and artichoke pizze) both of which were excellant. The restaurant was very popular which is always a good sign, definitely recommend.
