We traveled to Rheine with colleagues recently and before we left the city and drive back to Dusseldorf, we had the chance to stop by Beesten and enjoyed one of the nicest lunch I have had for a long time.
The building itself has nothing much to be talked about and it is quite close to the train line which means that during the lunch, the occasional train full of Audi cars makes its way to the harbor. Past this small disturbance, I cannot recommend Beesten enough.
Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner I guess and they were prompt to show us to the table. The menu itself is plentiful and the young lady who was looking after our table was very professional. i ordered the fish soup, duck breast and dessert. All very good. Our host recommended the entrecote which looked also very nice. All in all, a very pleasant lunch in a pleasant environment. I will definitely go back whenever I have the chance to travel back to Rheine!

You can have a self service buffet. Stick a clothes peg on your plate, choose the food you want add another peg for the sauce Minutes later it is returned cooked. Good for large numbers and very good value for the money

The best food I have ever had! Very delicious! Just delicious food, plentiful, such friendly service! We came in cold, wet and hungry and left full, warm and happy! Perfect evening!! The best restaurant in Germany!

Nice German food in this Bar/Restaurant in central Rheine. Graet choice of beers and small wine list, great place for coffee too, gets really busy late at night for drinks

All you can eat Spare Ribs and Chicken Wings... need I say more? plus a load of Mexican stuff. Well worth a visit.

Ich hatte schon einige Aussagen zu Schöpker gehört das man dort sehr gut essen gehen kann und die Portionen üppig sind. Ich war 2017 mit einer Lebensgefährtin dort und haben glücklicherweise noch einen freien Platz bekommen.

We have visited this place several times for lunch. The regular menu has plenty to choose from and then they have the specials of the Day and season's specials as well. Regardless what I have chosen, the food has always been very nice. The service is good too; staff is very friendly.

I went here for a friend's get together and since this used to be our favorite place, we chose this once again; We were welcomed back as if no time has passed since our last visit all though indeed several years have.
