We went for dinner here and I couldn t believe it:,eating better grilled fish here than on the Damatian coast. It smelled so nicely of the grill, havent had that taste for ages. Everything else we had was of superb taste: tuna carpaccio, octopus salad,...MoreDear 150luxury, All the pleasure was ours. Thank you for your visit, time, and this kind comment. We've passed your compliments to our staff, and all of us looking forward to thank you in person on the very next occasion. Kindest regards, LibertAs Team

In our restaurant you can find daily fresh staff. We offer you a Vegan menu,Vegetarian menu and Gluten free also.
Ok, must say that mine and my wife's dishes were good (first quality material...chicken and veal..:-D) but 3 and must say again 3 only main courses and no other choices....if they weren't good it would have been a joke! So 4 balls because I'm sure they'll grow...still waiting for the bill....so give me 10 minutes before I'll publish it....price....very good, so approved, beside the poor choice.

We went here on recommendations from a nearby cafe and we were very happy we listened!
This was by far the best meal we had in our week in Bosnia.
The setting is very warm and cozy and the decor is antique in keeping with the castle theme.
Our waiter was very understanding and spoke English quite well. He joked with us and made recommendations.
I had the beef soup which was quite tasty. It was more broth than beef but had a really good taste. My husband had the Hungarian soup which was filled with meat and equally delicious.
We both had pasta dishes. I had a spicy Turkey pasta with some grilled zucchini slices. It was DELICIOUS.
The prices were also quite reasonable considering the location and the quality.
I would hands down recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back if we visit again!

This is and excellent restaurant just on the other side of the river opposite to the castle, great location, view and food on the Terrace. Much better than the opposite side where you are physically inside the fort and don't see much of it! The friendly and prompt service made it an excellent experience

Fast, authentic, yummy pies! Very small place somewhere in the narrow, small streets of Bascarshi. Amazing, fresh and delicious! Dreaming to enjoy them again!

Bon Appetit Sarajevo was born out of a long-awaited desire by one chef whose pursuit for culinary excellence never seemed to be satisfied. Throughout his years of restaurant experience and exposure to diverse approaches to the culinary arts, a dream was born in Goran. He wanted to open a restaurant in the heart of his hometown of Sarajevo-- an intimate space where guests could come to experience a combination of the finest of International cuisine with the best of Bosnian hospitality. This dream has come true and it is called "Bon Appetit Sarajevo." We invite you to come and to experience for yourself our unsurpassed quality and service. Goran looks forward to serving you personally. Bon Appetit!
On our way through Bosnia we spent a day in Sarajevo and we were looking for a good place to eat.
As we don´t know Sarajevo so good we took a taxi from our hotel. The driver dropped us off at the main street. We had some trouble finding this restaurant as there was no sign on the main road, so we called their phone nr.. The owner answered and even came outside to try to find us and show us the way in. So if you are having trouble finding it, don´t hesitate to call. They will gladly guide you, or even come outside to get you.
The service was absolutely excellent. The owner who answered our call was serving us. The food was absolutely delicious, wine too. The atmosphere of this cozy restaurant was just perfect.
We only regret not having the time to try their Deserts. But will do so on our next visit to Sarajevo.

We came here for dinner on a Sunday night and the place was pretty quiet. We sat upstairs and mostly had it to ourselves. The service was very friendly but low key. I had the seafood risotto and my partner had the veal casserole. We both had the apple pie which was like a strudel for dessert. The only criticism that I would have is that the seafood risotto had a fair bit of what we would call crab sticks or seafood extender in it. I don't think that this is really good enough for a restaurant. Apart from that, everything was very good. I would recommend this restaurant.

Specialist tea shop with 200 different teas and tea room, non smoking first tea sommelier in the region
Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina has had a violent history. In spite of its past there is an serene oasis right downtown. Franz and Sophie World of Tea is a small cafe just up the hill. Just going inside is a treat. A symphony of aromas immediately begin the calming process. Selecting just the right tea from the hundreds available is a pleasant chore. No tea bags, each cup is lovingly brewed, filtered and served in an elegant ceremony. A truly unique experience in a unique city. Walk up the hill! You will be glad you did.

We have been there on a Saturday night w/o a reservation but we could get a table. (I recommend to book a table previously however if you couldn't, it worth a try)
A dinner takes at least 2 hours so take your time.
We tried 2 vegan daily soups 1 vegan and 1 vegetarian main dish, 1 vegan dessert. We loved every bite. We liked the difference and interesting way of using spices and vegetables in Sasha's kitchen. It is quite different, kind of a mixture of east and west.
Well I admit Sasha has his character and the way of leading his restaurant but this is what makes the whole concept and experience unique.
