La Barbe is a truly French Restaurant, established 35 years ago and located opposite the wonderful Priory Park in Reigate, Surrey. La Barbe is a place that is welcoming, friendly and strongly connected to the landscape. We serve fine, freshly cooked French cuisine with a modern twist. The atmosphere is informally elegant and French through and through, from the genuinely friendly staff to the decor and, most importantly, the delicious food. Our chefs elaborate a new menu every season, creating an exciting selection of French dishes with a modern twist presented with the flair you would expect in Reigate’s own corner of France. The emphasis is on local ingredients, freshness, flavour and fabulous presentation. Our restaurant wine list offers carefully selected wines some of which organic from most of the different French wine regions but also some excellent new world wines.
Had a great Sunday Lunch with family at this excellent French Restaurant. We had the three course set lunch which was reasonably priced. The food was excellent and served by attentive well presented and pleasant staff. Definitely a place to go for great food. The wine wasn't bad either! Will definitely go again.

Very impressed with the service and the delicious food. Menu is a bit different from the norm with some dishes I didn't recognise. We shared Chicken Tikka Makhani and King Prawn Karahi with rice, nan bread and vegetables and the sauces were wonderful. Cheerful, helpful service rounded off a nice evening.

The Joshua Tree Free House is Surrey's best kept secret established in 2001 by Kevin the Chef Proprietor. Our cosy pub / restaurant is situated on the edge of Earlswood common overlooking the 11th green of Redhill and Reigate Golf course. Kevin uses fresh ingredients to produce home cooked restaurant quality food, in addition to this we offer traditional Sunday lunches as well as a bar snack menu, all of which can be enjoyed in our high beamed chapel restaurant area or in the more relaxed bar area which offers a choice of 4 real ales.
We returned to the Joshua Tree for a second year and once again we were delighted with our meal, the service and the ambience.
This was a company Christmas party for 28 people. All our meals were served promptly and were delicious.
We will be back!

As Young's Food Pub of the Year 2014, we pride ourselves on varied dishes of a high quality, paired with fine wines from around the world and traditional cask ales, all served by our friendly and welcoming staff. Whether you are a local or a visitor to the area, you will always be offered the warmest of welcomes, so sit back and relax in our cosy bar, our light and airy dining room (which becomes more intimate once the candles are lit), or chill out in our garden.
Had pleasant lunch at Home Cottage with a colleague. One order of salmon, one of pork belly. Pub not especially busy but it was a Monday. Food arrived promptly. It was well cooked, hot and tasty. Would return, much improved from previous dinner visit one Sunday evening last year. Not sure if menu has changed. Or chef. Whichever, would recommend and nice to see a local pub serving good food.

Went on a Friday night for the first time - friend chose the pub to meet up - neither of us had been to The Plough before. It has a lovely, warm, cosy, atmosphere. Both of us chose the Fish Pie and must say it...MoreThank you for your review, we hope to see you again to try some of our other dishes.

Grilling Great Steak Since 1974 Beefeater first fired up the grill in 1974, opening the doors to The Halfway House in Enfield. 40 years on, we now have over 140 restaurants nationwide. The combination of great steak, friendly service and relaxed surroundings first made Beefeater a big hit in Britain in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and today is no different... our customers continue to tell us it's their local smiling team members that make them return time after time. Steak has always been and still is one of Britain’s most popular dishes and no one is better placed to serve the nation than us; serving over 12 million customers every year. Today we continue to hold a place in British hearts, serving up great tasting quality steak yet priding ourselves on a wide affordable menu from succulent chicken and fish to fresh salads and indulgent puddings. Everyone is welcome for a hearty breakfast, a big birthday celebration, a relaxed lunch or a quick drink – and regardless of the occasion, you can be assured of great British food and a welcoming smile. Did you know? All of our steaks are carefully sourced from farms that meet rigorous welfare standards, then aged for a minimum of 21 days to ensure every plateful is deliciously tender and packed with flavour. We know their journey every step of the way and when they get to our kitchens, our expert Academy trained chefs treat every cut with the attention to quality it deserves - lightly seasoning and searing on our smoking hot chargrill for the perfect BBQ flavour. Served just the way you like it, every time.
We used to come here often for breakfast at weekends. The English brea is cooked fresh to order and as much as you like. Then serve yourself from a selection of continental breakfast items, including tea, coffee and juices. Budget around £10 a head.
Unfortunately the last 2 times we've been, there were no tables! Wait time was over half an hour, so we ended up going to Pop Inn cafe.

Great location, really lovely people are Mark Paul & Muhammad..tasty quiche, scrummy cake, regular coffee.
But...sadly lacking in clear pricing. Vague battered weary old menus, again lacking prices.
It is 2017 print some new fresh priced menus. Not difficult.
Quiche deep pan, really tasty & bountiful !
Choccy cake sublime.
So come on on, Mark & Paul ...cover up the food for hygiene sakes, clearer priced menus, & we will come back, because you are good folk, running a good joint, but addressing the details could be great.
PS. You need a Brighter Twinkling Christmas tree lights Sandwich board outside.
Your current display is too wordy dul & invisible, bit like this over long review really !
