Buenos Aires (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈbwenos ˈaiɾes], Provincia de Buenos Aires; English: "good airs") is the largest and most populous Argentinian province. It takes the name from the city of Buenos Aires, which used to be part of the province and the provincial capital until it was federalized in 1880. Since then, in spite of bearing the same name, the province does not include the national capital city proper, though it does include all other localities of the Greater Buenos Aires metropolitan area surrounding it. The current capital of the province is the city of La Plata, founded in 1882.

While visiting Buenos Aires my wife and I had the opportunity to have dinner at the renowned La Bourgogne restaurant located in the Alvear Palace Hotel. Good friends from Mendoza, Argentina, had recommended it highly to us, and they certainly were correct: We had a wonderful and elegant experience there for our evening meal. We both began our dinner with Langoustines accompanied by vegetables in a Bouillabaisse sauce. For our main course my wife had Salmon and I had Tuna, both absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a bottle of one of our favorite wines with dinner: Mendel "Unus" Malbec 2014. Rather than dessert, we opted for a glass of Limoncello, which was very nice. All in all, a great dining experience.

Fantastic Food. Excellent service. An overall wonderful experience. Totally worth the price for the set menu. There was a huge amount of flavour complexity and variety. I am vegan and celiac (allergic to gluten) and they catered for me perfectly. I did not feel like I was missing out on anything because the flavours and dishes were so complete.
Highly recommend a trip to this lovely little restaurant. Make sure you book and press the doorbell when you arrive.

An awesome night...Great reviews... Hence our choice. Our experience was without fault. We have eaten in 1 and 2 star Michelin restaurants before and although they aren't awarded in Argentina this place thoroughly deserves at least one. The food was outstanding in its execution, innovation and choice of flavour combinations which worked incredibly well with wine pairings thanks to Nas a knowledgeable and very personable sommelier. The pourings were very generous and involved top ups for a degustation. An 18 course 3 hrs experience to be repeated if it when we return to Buenos Aires. Great job... Michael the chef of the night came and delivered two dishes personally. Fantastic touch. The fact that that all aspects of the menu were nationally sourced including the highest quality quality malbec and pinot noir topped a great night. Thanks guys... Muchas Gracias!

I went to Positano Lirica after hearing enthusiastic recommendations from a relative who lives in Buenos Aires and does not go to so-so places. He goes to the best. I took a friend of mine with her two daughters, and they had also been in Positano previously, and had loved it. When we arrived, we were greeted by a masked (Venetian type) guy who checked our reservation. We were taken to a table next to the window. The chairs felt uncomfortable as soon as I sat down. A harried waitress told us we needed to choose our main course and dessert, since the first course was the same for all the guests. We did so and she left. After 45 minutes of waiting and watching everybody else around us get served, even the second course, I stood up and asked for our first course. A plate with 3 small mozzarella balls, 2 small roll ups of mystery meat (ham?), a couple of tiny Cheddar cheese squares (Cheerio sized), and 2 (TWO!) olives, plus a couple pieces of grilled red pepper arrived. I asked: "is this for 4 people". The harried waitress said, oh, Ok. I will bring you another plate. It was as they were hoping that we would take the one plate and they could skate by just with that. They brought the other plate promptly (same contents, a little biger ham). After that, they brought the main courses, very unevenly served. Some of us had a pool of sauce and the pasta drowning in it, and others was practically dry. The show started. The music overpowered the singers (one male, one female) who were kinda past their prime, especially the male singer. I wanted to take pictures with the phone and was approached by another waiter telling me I couldn't film. I understand that, but I was taking pictures, and so was everybody else. The music was very loud, the singers were not. Then, the comic part started, a man dressed as a Sevillana woman came in. He was the best part and he was funny just sometimes. We had some laughing moments but most of it was...a smile. I am born and raised in Argentina, and came to the States only in 1991, so I understand the language, the slang and the nuances. The dessert was plunked in front of us. The waiting between acts was boring, the acting between the two singers was very forced and not believable. All in all, a big disappointment. For $600 (Argentinian Pesos) I could have taken my guests to eat at a far better restaurant and had a better time.

This is not a closed door restaurant anymore but far and away the best restaurant experience I have had in South America.
well had really high expectations here, had been at their previous address, the new place was hard to find, back room of a café, very austere, there were just 4 tables, absolutely nothing else.
Well menu is either 6 or 8 courses, and you can choose with fish or meat, we had 1 and 3 of each, unfortunately I and 2 others ended up with the lamb, which was cooked to coal like thingy, and this was like the main course of the whole affair, so that was really bad, the fish was apparently very good, so obviously should have gone that route.
there was a small shrimp course, which was quite good, but it was so small it was gone and forgotten after 1 bite, you can choose a wine pairing which I usually do, as the House usually knows best what goes with their food, but here we ended up being disappointed again, we started with a white wine which tasted like water, well ok, flavoured water, but rest of the wines were only marginally better, although Eugenia should know a lot better as a Sommelier, but no.

Welcome to Sunae Asian Cantina! Cocina Sunae is now called Sunae Asian Cantina. Starting Wednesday, Dec. 30th 2015 at our new place at Humboldt 1626, Palermo. Open Monday through Saturday evenings. We are no longer a closed door restaurant.
It is no wonder this place comes highly recommended by our Lonely Planet guide as one of the best places to eat in Buenos Aires.
The food is exquisite and the sumptuous beef rendang and pork dish we ordered came in generous portions. The halo halo desert was inventive and sublime.
The restaurant oozes a classy and understated stylishness, and it is clear to see that its staff work hard to sustain the close attention to the finer detail necessary to deliver incredibly efficient, yet warm and friendly service.
The front of house staff are a credit to the industry and as travellers who have eaten in restaurants across the world, this gem is undoubtedly one of the best.

I went for my birthday meal, and it couldn't have been a more memorable evening. The personal touch changes any restaurant experience from good to great, and this absolutely had that. The owners enjoy what they do and their energy is infectious. And to top it all off there was a bit of piano playing!
The food itself was better than I could have expected, the choice was ample with both the cheese and meat fondue - very well though through!
Such a great, local experience that I would recommend to any person visiting Tandil.

Warm greetings from the owner Ricardo began a fabulous dining experience. The food was exquisitely presented and a joy to the palette. Reservations are definitely required as it appeared that as many were turned away as those who were seated enjoying the food. My only regret is that I was only able to enjoy one meal this trip. Me and my girlfriend went to iLatina with sky high expectations and we were disappointed. In all fairness, our recent visit to the Laurie Raphael (Québec city) had us primed for a repeat fantastic experience which unfortunately wasn't to be found here. The services were definitely good but lacked the wow factor were rightfully expecting from the best restaurant in Buenos Aires. The wine pairing was again good, but honestly not that special. Overall a good experience but nowhere near the raving reviews that got us there in the first place. Not truly worth the price and not living up to the hype...
