Very nice rastaurant, near to the centre. The service is pleasant, helpful. Interior of the restaurant is very nice, you´ll feel very comfortable. The only drawback is poor ventilation, but the taste of prepared meals is excellent. The restaurant has outdoor spaces, when you can eat your meals. You´ll feel very pleasantly there. During the season they have a food selection. No problem with parking.

Went there for a Sunday lunch to get some bryndzové halušky (dumplings with local soft sheep cheese), bravcove koleno (pork leg), fried oštiepok (local sheep cheese). Food was really very nice. The only issue was it took a bit longer till we got the food, but I think it is understandable as the restaurant was fully packed.
Parking is available right next to the restaurant.

I went there with my family for celebration. The interior is very romantic, we sat on winter Terrace with the beautiful winter lake view. There is an assortment of cozy furniture, gas heaters and a fireplace. The place is divided into several sections.
The service was very quick. We were in and out within an hour. The menu is not overly large, just a few signature dishes, which are prepared with care and perfection. You can choose from a variety of dishes such as fine game, Argentine steaks, pork, chicken, salmon, cheese or salad and pasta. Kid´s dishes are also available. Everything we ordered was very tasty, sophisticated and beautifully arranged on the plate. The meat was tender and the seasoning and side dished complemented it well. The prices start at 7-8 € for simple dishes and go up to 20€ for steaks and game.
Apparently this place is also popular for weddings and birthday parties. Book the table in advance, as it is rather full on weekends.
This hidden gem is perfect for special occasions.

Stopped by on the way to Komárno for a quick meal. They have international kitchen in a modern environment - design is a pleasant combination of white, brown, orange and green. The Asian soup I chose was very delicious. The soufflé was again superb and elegantly prepared. I was a bit disturbed by the cigarette smoke in the upper, terrace-like area (was opened in the good weather). The waiter hardly spoke English, but finally we understood each other. Free wi-fi is available.

Stará Kotolňa is a nice place which is divided into two parts - the restaurant and the pub. Both are no - smoking places. Stará Kotolňa offers a friendly space for lunch, dinner or a party. It is situated in the center of block of flats, therfore is very visited by young people, families with children and eldery people as well. You will find here very good meals (including ribs, burgers, wings, pizza...) and many kinds of beer.
Ate here with my girlfriend, tried ribs and burger: excellent! Fresh, meaty, and juicy: I cant only recommend. Pub has several HD TVs to watch any sport event you could imagine (EURO 2016, in our case), good selection of beers, and a very interesting "meat" menu. Will stop here again!

Returning here regularly. An unassuming place in an unassuming provincial town (Nove Zamky, Slovakia).
But the traditions of Austro-Hungarian patisserie art are thriving here, omni present, demonstrated by fantastic cakes and excellent coffe.
The environment is luxurious, yet making you feel relaxed.
Prices- slightly higher for locals compared to other places in town, but if you compare with Budapest, Bratislava let alone Vienna, they are very very reasonable. And the quality is on par with these famous centers of Caffe Houses excellence.
Service - just fine, pleasant, not intrusive, polite.
Well done, Scriptor, I will be back!

The family stopped in for dinner en route to our final destination in Slovakia. Everything about this restaurant was "ok" but unremarkable. The nicest part was eating out on the deck given it was a beautiful day. We tried 4 different dishes which were all "ok" but nothing really stood out. We tried two different types of halusky (with and without sauerkraut), stuffed veal and cubed chicken with mushroom and nuts.

Sitting In Smoking And Non-smoking Area, Restaurant Part, Vip Room + Two Terraces. Bar With Outdoor Terrace Open In The Summer Months. Except Draft Beer We Offer 50 Kinds Of Bottled Beer According To Current Offer, Great Italian Coffee, Many Kinds Of Chocolate With Whipped Cream, Mixed Drinks And A Wide Selection Of Alcoholic And Soft Drinks
We visited this restaurant with friends to enjoy really good time with beer and cup of whiskey. During weekends there is live music available. Quality of snacks and drinks is very good, just one comment - majority of area is open for smoking, just minor part at the entrance is dedicated for nonsmokers (no toilet available in this area).
Overall impression is good.

Интересная кафишка с большим количеством книг - оттуда наверное и название - в честь известных изданий книг для молодежи из 80-тых. Кофе вкусное, атмосфера приятная.
