We visited the tavern about 16:00 o'clock and although it was open only the owner was there. (The place is mostly visited for dinner I suppose).
We asked for vegeterian plates that day, olive oil based dishes mainly.
Unfortunatelly, there were only meat dishes, moussaka, steak etc.
Anyway, we asked fried eggplants, pumpkins, french fries and Greek salad.
We loved the crispy bread on coal with olive oil and oregano on top.
But the fried pumpkin plate, was really funny and disappointing as it was the last one poor small pumpkin of the earth which was served in little pieces, tasty though.
Sea-food is not served here too.

We went to the Monday night Greek night. Wow super food, super location, super entertainment!!! We had such a great night, we have 2 young boys who enjoyed the night as much as us and joined in with the dancing! The home made Greek food was delicious and there was so much of it, they just kept bringing it! Definitely recommended. 18eros each and 10 euros for children.

You must definitely try Lamb in kettle with zucchini, lamb with prunes, Stifado, Gyros and the best grilled beef fillet.Perfect for breakfast-lunch-dinner for couples-families-singles. The authentic culinary experience of Lesvos since 1987. The story of "Taverna Vafios" started with endless love for traditional family recipes. So, the thought of our grandmother's delicious dishes -all authentic recipes of old times- being lost in time, gave us the idea to create not just a typical traditional taverna but a culinary destination. So in 1987, Vafios, a small village in Lesvos began to slowly appear on the gastronomic map until it became famous for its authentic traditional delicacies and the "Oh, so well cooked!" local recipes! In our family farm, surrounded by all that is fresh and green, one can taste true tradition. Picture this. You are relaxed, sitting in a colorful garden, your table is right under an old olive tree, the view of the Aegean Sea and the picturesque village of Molyvos decorates the horizon with the sun setting majestically into the sea. Truly, a unique atmosphere that no other place can imitate.
After having read the many reviews of this restaurant we decided to drive th 5 KM from Molivos to visit the place a lunch time,. We had the Vaifos Special Platter for 2 persons, containing of 6 small items for each persons - spinach pie, cheese pie, stuffed wine leaves, filled onions, None of the food was especially good, most of it more or less tasteless and the stuffed onions disgusting. Many reviews praise the great views but there are a lot of places with better views than this. Service was poor considering the fact that we were the only persons in the restaurant.

Visited for evening meal, four of us. Just asked for Greek meal for four. Absolutely fabulous, the food just kept coming, salads, dolmades, patatas, fried courgette flowers, fish, stuffed aubergines and more. Five bottles of wine all for less than £50 wonderful. A must if you are in Petra but, please book or you may be disappointed.

We arrived in Petra late on 10/9/16 for a two week stay, after we'd unpacked at Nikis Seafront Studios (also fantastic by the way!), we strolled into the main square, stopping at the Marina Restaurant on the front (also very good!). After we left the restaurant, we reached the square, and were immediately drawn to Bebas Corner, it just looked and sounded right, locals chatting, staff smiling and welcoming, we visited EVERY day after that!!! Nikos is a great guy, and if you happen to call mid-afternoon, you get invited to join the huge lunch that he prepares, it's very difficult to refuse!! The following day, after a morning on the beach, we strolled back to the square, intending to try another location, but Bebas were playing some chilled out blues music, not everyone's taste I know, but not loo loud, and it just felt right for a beautiful sunny afternoon, watching the world go by. In the evenings when Bespina arrives, the mood continues with a great vibe, a great welcome, and such a feeling of serenity as the evening passes you by. Many happy, funny afternoons or evenings were spent here!!! My rating is a fantastic 5 out of 5!!!! :) :)

I think this restaurant is one of the best of Lesvos.Salads, main dishes, house red wine, kalamari are so delicious. The mixed dips plate is not so good, normal. The prices are good enough, the service is so kind and lovely.2 person good dinner just 35 euro.
I certainly offer this restaurant.

For us just a average Greek restaurant however they have more pasta and pizza on the menu then the real traditional Greek dishes. Hard cheese Saganaki was not good the worst we ever got on Lesbos. The chicken souflaki and chicken filet were Ok . Sorry but no more than average score from our side and we wik not return here.

Restaurant grilll house and giros, is on facebook kalnterimi.greeknet.com
Just arrived back in Petra, first stop Kalderimi. New ordering system using computers ensures swift service even when busy. Some may think they are rushing you through, but, there is no pressure to leave. The food is still first class and the staff wonderful. A warm welcome awaits everyone. Grills are the speciality.
