From a local person we had heard that Ristorante la Capannina was the best place in this region. And though this is february and a lot of restaurants nearby are closed for the season, I can not imagine a place where they serve better food.
We got seafood and it was so fresh and delicious! For me it seemed clear that everybody involved in this place have a great passion for food. The ingredients were handled with respect and care and we also felt that we as guests were in good hands.
It was a really nice experience and we'll recommend to try it if you go to Sicily!

We decided to have a last meal before heading to Palermo airport and dropped into Patti finding this restaurant quite by accident. What a stroke of luck !! We were warmly greeted by the waiter and noticed there was no menu. The waiter explained that the chef bought the seafood fresh every day , choosing what looked best from the catches of the local fishermen. We told him to bring it on.!! We feasted on mussels, scallops , calamari, swordfish, seabass, and other delicious seafood prepared to absolute perfection. Paired with a beautifully chilled vino bianco it was a triumph - this is what clever cooking is all about. Sadly we did not have time to wait for Dolci . Bravo ,Trattoria Nero.

Piccola bottega, specializzata in prodotti tipici siciliani. Appena entrati si viene investiti da un profumo inebriante, che ti spingerebbe a comprare tutto e di più. Ho provato un panino con dei salumi e formaggi locali veramente ottimi. Gentilissimi i proprietari che ci hanno consigliato e fatto assaggiare una salsiccia secca di suino nero deliziosa!

Went there with 5 friends. Appetizers were 50% ok, 50% disgusting. The olives were the worse we ever ate.
Pizzas were ok, but quite a bit too salt.
Beers go by the bottle and are overprized (€13,-)
Staff is friendly and really try to make you feel at home. Kitchen is the problem here.

Go there cause this page reviews and thumbs up. Totally homemade pasta and incredible delicious. Owner is explaining what they have, not so much, but all pasta incredible good. Plastic dishes and not the most nice local but if food is like was i really don´t care so much. Highly recommend.

A little hidden from the ordinary path but if you can be bothered to drive your way up the hill, the compensation is immense... Best ecological food, wide variety of appetisers and dishes.... You will eat until you cannot move!

We ate here a few times, both for a light lunch and a full dinner.
The food was good, portions large and reasonable priced.
Bottled craft beers were available. Jugs of house wine were not available, but bottles of local wine were reasonably priced and better quality than house wines elsewhere.

We were visiting friends nearby over the holidays this past Christmas and happened upon this warm and wonderful place. Gianmarco is extremely knowledgable about wine, especially Natural wines and was very helpful in helping us pick out a special Sicilian wine for Christmas. Their food selection is unbeliveable and don't miss out on their choclates as well! If you are any where on the north coast in the Capo 'Orlando area, it is worth seeking out Antica Salumeria Buzzanca. Salute!

Located on the waterfront of patti, is the place to have breakfast or enjoy a cup of coffee during the breaks of the day, excellent as cocktail bar, also offers the possibility of Lunch\dinner. Evenings are composed of dj sets good music, nice people and a lot of fun.The friendly staff and nice there will host inside and outside with tables and comfortable sofas.
