Station Restaurant has a modern, fresh cuisine with a touch of the orient. Great flavour combinations, this menu has something for all palettes.
We chose to dine at the Station Restaurant and Cafe whilst staying at the adjoining Motel. We had main meals and desserts which were served in a prompt manner and we were very happy with the meals we chose. We were attended to by Anita who gave us friendly country style service. From our observations, it seems to be popular with the local residents of Parkes, as, whilst we were dining in the restaurant, there was a large group of diners who were not staying at the Motel.

This is a nicely furnished cafe with good coffee, plenty of soft drink and alcoholic drink options and a satisfactory range of foods for most people.
The staff was pleasant and judging by the number of people present, it's a popular spot. You can see the telescope outside the cafe window and the works area for CSIRO staffs which are out of limits for visitors.

Bellas offers a "homestyle" modern italian - classics with modern twists and home-style flavour. Our team of young passionate individuals are highly trained and always aim to please. We pride ourselves in offering a quality dining experience. Reservations are recommended, as our busy times book out quite quickly. Takeaways are also available all day. We accidentally stumbled across Bella's as we looked for a brunch venue after the Elvis Parade. Lucky us - all five enjoyed their food very much. The highlight was the vege pizza - freshly made and absolutely delicious. Coffee was also very good. We enjoyed it o much we went back the next day for breakfast which was equally good. Staff friendly and coped really well with the pressure of such large numbers wanting to eat & drink. Service was fast and pleasant. Would definitely go back if I was in the area.

Whilst visiting Parkes recently, we stopped in to the Coffee Pot Cafe located in the main shopping precinct of Parkes, for lunch. We chose iced coffees, toasted Sandwich and a melt. The iced coffees were not the best we have ever tasted. However, the melt and Sandwich were quite enjoyable. A little more effort is required, plus on the day we were there the service was extremely slow.

Had dinner with 10 other friends while on an overnight excursion. Service was very good and delays were minimal given the number of meals they were delivering to the tables. From a group perspective we enjoyed the meal and the evening out and the prices were very reasonable.

Went with a colleague. The food was OK and the kitchen cooked plant based of "jey" for me. The restaurant is a family affair with mum in the kitchen and son on the floor. I had a tofu larb that needed more moisture and more corriander, mint, cucumber and salad but was ok. A basil chilli main again needed moisture but flavours were OK. We talkedabout frying the tofu... I couldnt detect any crispness.
I asked for extra chilli 3 times (I had also asked for the dishes to be served spicy/lots of chilli - they were not).
When paying I was told the extra chilli would cost me $6. The explanation was that chilli is $50 per kg.... (its $25 per kg everywhere I go) thats a record for me. I have had $1 or $2 for chilli.... but $6? Give me a break.

Cedar Cafe offers breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon teas and a smooth and mellow coffee blend. Along with a variety of cold and hot drinks in tranquil surrounds. Situated in the grounds of Greenparkes Nursery, Cedar Cafe offers tasty affordable food as well as handmade sweet temptations. Table service provided. Choose from Seating on the peaceful verandah or the newly decorated interior.
We stayed across the road at the motel but not being fans of motel restaurants, checked out TripAdvisor to see what was local and available.
The reviews for this establishment are well founded and we don't mind adding to the positive vibe.
Great hospitality, great coffee, great food.

The thought of a rural pub/night club was not appealing for a family meal but decided to try it as it was getting late. So pleased we did. Staff were very friendly, pub had a welcoming feel, good cheap and totally outstanding. Salmon beautifully presented...MoreThanks for a great review, so happy you decided to try our hotel we strive to accomodate to family's and large groups and happy you had a great experience while dining with us. An exciting new dining option in the central west of NSW. Spoil yourself with modern Australian cuisine in a classic yet contemporary 'atmospheric' environment. Also enjoy a cold beer with 6 tap beers to select from, a mouth tingling cocktail or choose from our extensive wine list which showcases some of the regions finest wine varieties.
Recommended when checking in at the nearby caravan park. Glad we took their advice. The food was amazing. The hardest thing was deciding on what too have! So many great choices and we weren't disappointed with our meals. Steak was cooked to perfection and the accompanying vegetables were lovely. Well done chef.

Arrived in Parkes 8pm ANZAC Day eve. Fortunately this restaurant open. Noticed several customers dining there so chances were, the food would be good and it was. Greeted warmly upon entry and shown to table. Didn't have to wait long for order to be taken and meals served in good time. Generous serves, fresh, hot and delicious.
